Rating: General Audiences
Pairing: Clint Barton & Natasha Romanoff; gen
Warnings: None
Summary: Clint has more than a few concerns about Tony's new Avengers themepark. Trouble is, no one wants to hear them from the focus group's "least marketable Avenger." Looks like he'll just have to investigate for himself. As usual.

In the beginning, the idea is Tony’s. And of course it is -- Nobody else would be capable of coming up with such a spectacularly crazy and yet also somehow ingenious endeavor.

Well, back up. That isn’t exactly right. Really the idea begins with Steve, on the day he comes in to his own weekly briefing meeting looking uncharacteristically forlorn. Clint notices--was aware even before Steve’s entrance that something is off because today Steve is late, and that never happens short of an actual global catastrophe. He doesn’t say anything, though, because it doesn’t seem like any of his business.

“What’s wrong, Stars-and-Stripes?” asks Tony, who apparently does not have any of the same reservations. He leans back in his chair and props his feet on the edge of the table, which earns a look of mild disgust from Natasha. “Shield get a scratch?”

TITLE: Stuck Like Glue

AUTHOR: [livejournal.com profile] enigma731

PAIRING: Clint Barton/Natasha Romanoff

RATING: Teen

WARNINGS: None

SUMMARY: Clint needs Natasha’s help with…well, a sticky situation.

NOTES: This is sort of a 616/MCU fusion, because shenanigans like these feel distinctly like Fraction!verse to me. No real comics knowledge required, though. I’m pretending this is set in a vague future timeline where Clint’s life is at least marginally less shitty (lol yeahright), because reasons. (Also this has taken me forever to crosspost so you may have already seen it. ;) )

Title: untitled
Rating: PG13 for language
Word Count: 1200-ish
Warnings: None. I think it's pretty safe.
Disclaimer: Yes, the characters are mine. All mine. I made them up 50 years before I was born (I'm magical that way). In fact, I demand royalties from Marvel. Pay me now or suffer the wrath of the lawyers I'm financing through the money in my change jar. Don't laugh, I might have a whole $20 in quarters. (I'm totally kidding, please don't sue me. Except for the $20 in change part. That might be real)
Summary: Very, very mild crack!fic from the mind of someone who hasn't written a fic for a while.
Author's note: Attempted humour. You have been warned. And thanks to the lovely shenshen77 for her beta work.

Title: Some nights
Fandom: The Avengers 2012, Iron Man 3 (MCU)
Characters: Tony Stark, Clint Barton, Natasha Romanoff
Pairing: Clint/Natasha and implied Tony/Pepper
Genre: drama, introspection, romance. Tony and Clint friendship.
Rating: PG – 13
Spoilers: for Iron Man 3
Warnings: vague mentions of PTSD, panic attacks and other post – traumatic symptoms. Unbeta'd for now.

Summary: Tony and Clint are fixing things (well, a car), shortly after events of IM3.

“I make things. Or... fix things,” he said and nodded towards the car, then looked at Clint. “That's harder than being inside the suit,” he said, looking straight ahead again. “Because fixing something is a risk. It can work out, or it can fail.”

Disclaimer: they belong to Marvel, and my heart belongs to them. The title and quoted lyrics belong to Fun.

Author's notes: written really quickly in honor of [livejournal.com profile] anna_sg1's birthday; and filled with general Supernatural references. BECAUSE OF REASONS. (Also, I hope I didn't commit fail there!) Bear in mind that I don't know how to fix cars, so I hope I didn't mess this up when it comes to car fixing part. (I did consult my husband who has a clue or two). Also, there's a small, tiny reference to Captain America 2, and it concerns something in Natasha's possession. If you're on tumblr, you probably ran across that detail. (How that object came to be in Natasha's possession is purely my imagination.)

I've put up a few fics on Ao3. Enjoy!

Fic: They Will Rock You
Warnings: Swearing, minor violence
Summary: The Knight's Tale AU, which [livejournal.com profile] stuntriderjenny came up with. Clint as an archer pretending to be a knight, Natasha as a noblewoman. And everyone else as something or other.
Chapter 1
Chapter 2
Chapter 3
Chapter 4
Chapter 5/9

Fic: The Wrong Girl
Warnings: Minor violence
Summary: For [livejournal.com profile] alphaflyer's minipromptathon prompt "Nora X in Accounting has a thing for Agent Carl Y and sneaks a note on his locker in the men's gym. Only she has the wrong locker. Clint finds the note -- addressed to 'C', from 'N'."
Link: at Ao3

Fic: Trust issues and Secrets
Warnings: Way too much drama
Summary: Clint and Natasha’s partnership wasn’t always unspoken communication and seamless teamwork. Or, Clint has a secret. Natasha has trust issues.

Title: I've had my run (baby I'm done)
Fandom: The Avengers (2012)
Pairing: Clint/Natasha
Rating, mild M (for language, nudity, sexual references)
Characters: Clint Barton, Natasha Romanoff, Darcy Lewis, Phil Coulson, Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, Steve Rogers, Thor Odinson, Loki (Odinson as well in this fic), Pepper Potts.
Genre: actors!AU/crack/romance/fluff-ish with tiny bit of angst.
Warnings: mentions of physical injuries
Summary: when world is a stage, one eventually gets tired of the stage lights. Clint and Natasha did.
Author's notes: written as a continuation of It's not the years honey (it's the mileage). It's set directly after first fic, so I recommend reading the first one (it's not long) to get familiar with this universe. Everything started with the prompt left by [livejournal.com profile] inkvoices during the mini promptathon, who requested Clint and Natasha as actors. Also, since aforementioned lady recently had a birthday, this is a sliiightly belated birthday present - happy birthday darling, and I hope you'll enjoy this! :D

A huge thank you to [livejournal.com profile] ashen_key who discussed this with me back and forth and helped me with her suggestions. Also, a big thank you to my super helpful, awesome beta [livejournal.com profile] shenshen77 who kept her eye on this thing every step of the way. *huge hugs*

Slightly inspired by Michael Buble's "Home". I tried to capture the sentiment of the song, also, that's where the title comes from. :)

click for the fic - in which Clint is hurt, Nat takes care of him, Darcy is bossy and awesome and Loki gets what he deserved.

Title: Wet Hot Avengers Summer

Title: Ask Me No Questions, I'll Tell You No Lies
Author/Artist: Koren M. ([livejournal.com profile] cybermathwitch)
Disclaimer: Not mine. If they were, there'd already be a Black Widow/Hawkeye movie.
Pairing: Clint/Natasha
Rating: All Audiences
Warnings: crack? Mostly crack. Mild language and innuendo.
Spoilers: The Avengers
Type: Stand-Alone
Word Count: 1,223
Summary: Imagine, if you will, the press conferences and news stories and magazine and blog articles that must have followed the Battle of New York. (Almost) everyone - well no, not everyone, mostly Clint and Natasha - get their 15 minutes of fame, including that Random Science-Geeky Guy from SHIELD's armory R&D. (Well, maybe he only gets five minutes...)

Author's Notes: During NaNoWriMo, one thing I resorted to in a fit of "ohgodohgod I need to make my wordcount and what is this even?!" was asking my friends and enablers family for interview questions to put to the Avengers, because why not? (This is actually a wonderful tactic for generating words and shaking things loose.)

This is the result. Many thanks to my various "Interviewers".

Title: Tangled Up In Blue (Chapter 2: I am a man of constant sorrow) (WiP - Ch.2 of ??)
Author: [livejournal.com profile] im_ridiculous
Fandom: Avengers - Clint/Natasha
Genre: AU, angst!crack
Rating: MA - for mature audiences.
Warnings: Adult themes, lots of angst, vague-ish references to alcoholism and physical abuse, a smattering of f-words (not gratuitous, in my opinion.), aaaand a reference to a brief but violent car accident
Length: ~2400
Disclaimer: I own nothing and no one.
Thanks: You guys, [livejournal.com profile] themonkeytwin is the most amazing beta. Let's just all be very clear about that. Also, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] anillogicalmind, and a happy birthday dedication to [livejournal.com profile] anuna_81, because she's been one of the biggest cheerleaders for this stupidly slow series and I love her for it :)

Soundtrack: 'I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow' - Soggy Bottom Boys
Summary: It's a masochistic rite that insists on being observed. So he sings, and he remembers.
A/N: This is the slowest-written fic in the history of the interwebs. It's also a crazy, angsty, AU crack!fic, where Clint is a boozed-up country/folk musician running from a past that includes Natasha. Running to a future that includes her too? ... Time will tell.

Prepare for shameless, shameless, pathetic fluff. Also, I'm incapable of writing a 5+1 as a 5+1, so this is a 5+1+1+1. Bonus chapters? Sure.

Title: Love You Like a Love Song

(OR: 5 Times that Natasha and Steve did not understand a pop song + 1 time that Clint understood a pop song and Natasha did not + 1 time that Natasha understood a pop song that Clint did not + 1 time that the whole team understood a song)

Disclaimer: Characters are Marvel’s. Story is mind. Headcanon is my crack.

Rating: PG

Warnings: Angst. Lots of it.  Feels. Some fluff.

Author’s Note: I have feels sometimes. Forgive me for some fluffy cheesy crack.

Summary: Unfortunately, pop music was inherent to the culture and they were subjected to it, again, and again, and again. By proxy, due to Natasha’s temperament and Steve’s insatiable curiosity, their teammates were also subjected to their reactions to it. Again, and again, and again.

But you CAN'T set fire to the rain. It's impossible. )

Title: We Wish you a Covert Christmas, and a Clandestine New Year
Author: TaleWeaver [livejournal.com profile] nessataleweaver
A Gift For: [livejournal.com profile] book_junkie007
Rating: PG+15
Warnings: sexual innuendo, violence, swearing, political maneuvering, and maybe Santa abuse (not the real one, though!).
Pairings: Clint/Natasha
Summary/Prompt Used: Five Christmas-time missions Clint and Natasha did as a favor to Nick Fury, and one Christmas-time favor he did them in return
Disclaimer: The Characters herein belong to Marvel, not me. The story is mine mine mine.
Author's Notes: For the Be_Compromised bar’s Secret Santa party of 2012. ( Mission #2 was mostly inspired by the Secret Santa Banner of Clint and Natasha in the snow. )
Calendar Note: According to my research ‘the twelve days of Christmas’ actually last from December 25 (Christmas Day) to January 5 (Twelfth Night or Ephiphany – see the first part). So they count as ‘Christmas-time’ too, not just the days that show up on the Advent calendars.

Title: Night at the City Museum
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Avengers
Warnings: Violence, language, insanity, puns.
Pairings: Clint Barton/Natasha Romanoff
Summary: A curse hits the City Museum in St. Louis. Luckily for absolutely nobody, the Avengers are on the scene to take care of it.
Length: 2039 words
Prompt: [livejournal.com profile] dictator_duck threw down the gauntlet: Write a C/N fic set in your hometown/a city you love and have lived in! (Mission or otherwise, serious or crack!) Well, I've lived in 9 states, but my hometown right now is St. Louis (more or less), and there is something amazing in St. Louis that would be the perfect movie location or battle location. I actually worked on a film in this location in 2007, and everything in the fic is a real thing...sort of.

Just to warn you, it's a little cracky, and it starts in media res. You can read it here on my LJ.
