AUTHOR: enigma731
PAIRING: Clint/Natasha
RATING: Teen

SUMMARY: “You want me to teach seduction,” Natasha says disgustedly.
Fury sighs. “The official name of the course is Interpersonal Espionage Techniques.”
“Seduction,” she insists. “I’m a spy, not a school mistress.”
He raises an eyebrow. “Interesting choice of words there.”
NOTES: I started this for [livejournal.com profile] inkvoices' mini promptathon prompt, but then it got way too long for the 3 week deadline. I hope you all enjoy it now!

Clint Barton & Natasha Romanov, Phil Coulson, Bobbi Morse

completed a few weeks ago for Marvel Bang 2015. This story takes place one year after Clint makes the unexpected choice to bring Natasha Romanov in from the cold. They've become co-workers and acquaintances, but Natasha is still as much a mystery to Clint as she was on the day he was first sent to target her. A story about making friends and making choices, set against the backdrop of daily life at SHIELD.

Title: Wheel of Fortune - Chapter 3
Rating: Teen and Up
Pairing/Characters: Clint Barton/Natasha Romanoff, Sam Wilson, Wanda Maximoff, Pietro Maximoff
Warnings: Canon typical violence, era typical racism
Word Count: 1190 words (this chapter)
Summary: A pyramid in the middle of Croatia in 1943? You have got to be kidding. Add a mythical cannon wheel that will grant its owner success in all combat situations, Nazis, Soviets and a beautiful redhead hot on its heels - Not a good day for Clint "Hawkeye" Barton, adjunct professor of archaeology at Washington University in St. Louis.

Chapter 3 is finally up if you're still interested :) Read it here on AO3.

Title: “Pilot”
Author: Koren M.
A Gift For: [livejournal.com profile] topaz119
Rating: Teen
Warnings: language
Prompt used: “I love fusions, where canon is translated into a different historical era or genre” - well, it’s certainly a fusion, and definitely a different genre. (Are the 90’s considered a different historical era? Because if not, they really should be.)
Summary: He walks into the basement office expecting his new assignment to be a glorified babysitting job. He certainly isn’t expecting to get drawn into a shadow war much more sinister and desperate than the one he just left behind.
The more things change…
The more they remain the same.
(Or, the X-Files AU you never knew you needed.)

Author Notes:

This is entirely AoU (and everything else) divergent, no MCU canon need apply. ;)

So this? Was not my original plan for this exchange. And by “not my original plan” I mean I had 85-90% of the fic I was originally writing done when I sat down Monday night, but instead of finishing that, I suddenly had Natasha in my head uttering the line “I was under the impression you were sent to spy on me”.

And whoosh down the rabbit hole I went. A few hours later, I had this. Some iconic conversations and actions/reactions remained the same, while others shifted and changed dramatically. I (hope) I did what was most true to the characters and the original story. I was really excited to see how it all played out, and the possibilities for how other moments or events might happen has me almost giddy. (That said, I haven't really done something quite like this before, so that could also be the nerves talking...)

Many, many thanks to kadollan for the beta-reading (and pouring the tea about the articles of serial killers).

I’m not sure it’s “fun and light” (I’m sorry!), but I also wouldn’t by any means call it overly angsty or dark fic, and I hope you like it! :D

Agent Barton, do you know why you're here?

Author: Avenging Archer
Pairing/Characters: Clint/Natasha, the usual SHIELD and Marvel characters
Word Count: Novel length ongoing WIP. Estimate when complete 80K words
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Some violence as per fitting a spy story, profanity suited to an ex military Army Ranger, some sexual situations and innuendo. No gratuitous gore or porn, but this isn’t a children’s tale either.
Many thanks to Alpha Flyer for betaing the early chapters!

Summary: She'd had no idea that such a coincidental meeting would change her life so dramatically. He'd spared her life, giving her a second chance to find purpose and a way to balance her ledger. Their friendship? She didn't over analyze it. It didn't need defining. It was hers. Hers and his. That was all that mattered…until he was compromised and she came face to face with Loki and found herself unwittingly compromised as well. Black Widow/Hawkeye. Movieverse with a touch of comic canon per author's prerogative.

“Are those shots I’m hearing?” Coulson’s voice came over his comm.

“No, they’re firecrackers!” Clint barked as he rolled off of Natasha.

She glanced at him as if he were crazy, then registered to whom he was speaking and proceeded to snort with amusement. Clint shook his head and took a quick assessment of the situation.

He didn’t like what he concluded. She had rolled into a crouch behind a nearby pile of rock, her face an expressionless mask of calm despite the fact that they were trapped against a wall with an indeterminate number of enemies firing from the abandoned building and all they had for cover was some scattered rubble and rocks from upper sections of the wall that had fallen over the course of time.

Title: Queen and Hawkheart
Author: completelyhopeless
Characters: Clint Barton, Natasha Romanoff, Barney Barton, Pepper Potts
Warnings: None
Word Count: ~4200
Summary: Stories that take place in the alternate universe where Natasha is a queen and Clint is the head of the guard.

A series in progress started on the Comment-Fic community and crossposted to AO3. I thought I'd rec this because it is super good and goes with the premise that Natasha was assigned to off the problematic king of a foreign nation and ends up in an interesting political dance with the king's brother, Hawkeye.

author's note: For alphaflyer, who prompted "Darcy … as the matchmaker From Hell (or heaven, depending on how you look at it!)" for Clint and Natasha. Many thanks to cybermathwitch for beta'ing!

April 2006

Somewhere over Europe

"The Black Widow has been a very naughty spider over the past year."

Clint glanced up from his folder to look at Phil Coulson, whose lips quirked in a slight smile at his own joke, which for Coulson meant that they barely moved.

Clint smirked. He had never met anyone who could pull off expressionless as well as Phil. And it wasn't just his expression. Nothing seemed to phase the man. Ever. Even in the midst of a full out hand to hand fight, Coulson was all business.

And the man could kick ass, Clint knew that first hand, having had his own kicked a few times when he'd first come on board with S.H.I.E.L.D. and had the "honor" of having Phil Coulson assigned as his handler.

He'd been a cocky son of a bitch back then.

Author’s Notes: Sequel/companion fic to 'Til Death Do Us Part, where Clint and Natasha are soulmates.
Summary: He would never be separated from her in death, no matter what Loki thought. Clint hadn’t told the demigod everything because Loki hadn’t asked for an interpretation when Clint said simply, “Kill her and you kill me too.” It was a real, physical fact between them, but it was more than that and always had been.

Author’s Notes: For the language and translation square on my trope bingo card.
Summary: Natasha does not like this English. She could not make it do what her tongue wanted, to tell Clint in words somehow what he was to her, but there were no words in any language but the language she knew, the language of hands and eyes and fist and wrist and steady breaths and strength at her back.

SUMMARY: Clint needs Natasha’s help with…well, a sticky situation.

NOTES: This is sort of a 616/MCU fusion, because shenanigans like these feel distinctly like Fraction!verse to me. No real comics knowledge required, though. I’m pretending this is set in a vague future timeline where Clint’s life is at least marginally less shitty (lol yeahright), because reasons. Hello, dear bar!

It's Friday again and today we're going to talk about sex! (Yes, you heard me right. Don't look at me with that tone of voice.)

Things to remember:

  1. Always label NSFW (Not Safe For Work) stuff in the title and post under a cut. If it's a comment, label NSFW in the subject line of the comment. Although I'm going to guess a lot of this discussion will be NSFW.

  2. Fic and artwork needs to have a rating and warnings (or you can say that you’ve chosen not to use warnings). With this topic please be especially mindful of using warnings or being explicitly clear that you've chosen not to warn. Remember that one person's kink could be another person's trigger.

  3. For people with annoying internet connections, say in the title if a comment is graphic/images/gif-heavy and post picspams under a cut.

  4. Have a damn good time! (Because if that’s not happening then this post has clearly failed.)
