Yay, friending meme is here and with a brilliant title! Thanking you, thrace_adama :D

Movieverse, Comicverse, or both? Movieverse. I have very little grounding in the comics, but I do love the comicverse banter.

How many times have you seen Avengers?: I got to see it for the second time today :D

What brings you to the Clint/Natasha ship?: workerbee73 and sugar_fey. Oh, wait, you meant what, not who? I have thinky thoughts over here, so stealing from there: these two speak their own language. It’s a language of ‘you know I do’ and Natasha whispering something to Clint that makes him smile at the end even when he’s stood right in front of and staring at Loki. It’s a language of being the two just humans on the team, the only two to actually follow SHIELD orders, being spies, of so much history, and of debt. I don’t if they’ve ever been romantically involved or if they ever would, but I thoroughly believe they are a part of each other in all the inseparable ways that count. They're a group within the group of Avengers as a whole and the dynamics fascinate me.

Any other ships/fandoms?: my fandoms other than the Avengers at the moment are Sherlock BBC, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Torchwood, Firefly/Serenity, and X Men. I wander around in Castle, Star Trek XI, CSI, Wire in the Blood, Bones, House MD, Sherlock Holmes, Narnia, Lord of the Rings, Tortall, Angel/Buffy, White Collar, Fringe, Sandman, and Discworld.

What about C/N do you like best?: in the shawarma scene, where Clint has his foot on Natasha's chair. It's the little things, the subtle and the hidden, the nuances.

What kinds of things are you looking forward to seeing at be_compromised? Fic, graphics, vids...?: Everything. All the things!

Share your favorite piece of fanon/head!canon: Thanks to sarea_okelani and her fic Lifeline I think that Clint called a young Natasha 'Gnat' as a nickname to wind her up (because I believe Clint is older by 10-13 years and Natasha joined SHIELD between 13-20) and that he still calls her that sometimes. It's a silent 'g', so maybe he's just saying 'Nat', but Natasha knows that he isn't.

Rec a fic, graphic, vid, meta, etc. (try to pick something not yet recommended) and explain why you liked it.: Something not yet recommended, I think: the latest meta from workerbee73. Um, I've done a lot of rec posts *grins*. I tried not to rec things that had already been posted on the comm though, so some favourites not included in my rec posts: all of sugar_fey's fics, workerbee73's Rest for the Weary series, allisnow's An Arrow, Discarded, Lifeline as already mentioned, and everything Avengers by gyzym.

What should a potential new friend know about you/your LJ and/or what are you looking for in an LJ friend?: I read, write, rec, and make icons. I'm verbal and often write long comments. Comment discussions are fun! I tend to friends-lock stuff that isn't fandom related or is about my life offline. If I friend you, hello, I love your fic/icons/graphics/sense of humour/interests/wonderful self!

Friending policy?: Friending, de-friending, it's all good. If we have things in common, let's chat. If not, not.

Anything else you want to add?: I seem to be posting behind a lot of people, although I'm online at odd times. Timezone shout out: I'm in the UK. Where's everyone else?

I agree with your thoughts on the shawarma scene. Clint's foot up on her chair, earlier when his eyes just follow her, the little ways they gravitate towards each other. It's a very subtle and nuanced way of expressing affection. It's my favorite thing about them.

My favourite scene and we didn't even get it in the UK lol. It's just his foot is on her chair and she has not ripped that foot off *grins*. But yes, the way that they share space, are so in tune with each other, pratically have their own language... *happy sigh*

Tonight I'm going through my inbox from the latest to the newest instead of backwards, which is how I usually do it, and I found this. I think it got buried beneath the promptathon emails *head desk* so sorry about that! Of course it's okay. Friends are always okay :D Esepcially ones with the same loves as me, heh. I try to persuade everyone into loving Neil Gaiman, starting them all on different things depending on what they like at the moment.
