I remember posting that fic, and an hour later I found a post on my flist about babyfic in general, and how it's not working for Avengers, and then there was a description of my fic, and sort of harsh comments directed at it, pointed mostly at Natasha deliberately choosing to have a child. I was sad when I saw that, as you can imagine, so when someone mentions "Only human" that's one of the first things I remember, along with lot of replies from people who did like it, and didn't find it unrealistic. So it's kind of a bittersweet, fond memory and I love the fic very much. I've done something I didn't do in a kidfic before, I enjoyed writing about Nat acting the way she did - because she's only human, after all. Hence the name. And Clint knew and agreed.

*hugs* Thank you so much for the rec. I know it probably sounds strange, but I'm kind of a writer with a truckload of insecurity and there's always a fear that people don't like what I write. Being recced really makes me wanna fly :D
