And ouch, that helplessness of not knowing how to help/comfort Clint, and I imagine when that's one of the things that she's good at that she likes being good at, helping someone without killing or lying or anything being involved, being able to comfort someone by being her....I wonder how she'd have to change, how she'd approach this....
Both would hurt, self-awareness and not being able to do anything about it or losing so much of his life. Which would hurt Natasha more, d'you think? A Clint that remembers her but can't relate to her anymore, she's a memory not a present reality, or a Clint that doesn't know anything about her?
