Oh god, I'm supposed to be writing my Avengers RBB, like, right now. BUT. THIS. I'M ACHING TO GET INTO THIS. AND IT'S BOTH YOUR FAULT.

And yeah, it's like... Dumb metaphor, but there's a reason why, at some point, old houses get torn down and rebuilt from scratch rather than renovated and repaired. It IS easier to build something anew than try and get something you already had to change and adjust, just as you said.
