ok, sometimes canon's good

Well, I just ranted in the other thread about how I like to pretend that comic book canon doesn't exist, because it messes with my OTP, but seeing this on Tumblr today I have to admit it can sometimes be OK.





I need to see this live action, please.

I think Marvel should take multiple Avengers covers and have Team!Shawarma pose for live action versions. Jeremy and Scarlett could do THIS one. *nods*

What's eeeeenteresting to me is that this is definitely 'movie-version'-ish Clint, what with the lack of cowl and purple and the added black t-shirt of hotness and such. Does anyone know the storyline here? Might they draw from this for future films?

You are SO RIGHT... that *is* movie!Clint. I choose to believe they are captializing on the popularity of the ship and the movie characters, rather than that they are simply updating his former regrettable costume.

And like, going back to the previous thread's discussion, if we have a Cap 2 movie or SHIELD or Avengers 2 or whatever movie they are in next, and they're just doing their badass secret agent thing, no big deal, and there's like a moment where one of them is about to leave on a mission or whatever and Nat just grabs Clint and THIS happens?
