Prompts: All things Valentine's Day or love (romantic or otherwise!) related. Friendship? UST? Developing romantic feelings? Just saw a post about this on tumblr (by tumblr user skinks) for another fandom -- turning the "pretending to married/together" trope on its ear.

Clint and Natasha go undercover and have to pretend they're NOT together.

As skinks put it: but asking them to act like strangers is impossible. they keep slipping and calling each other pet names. almost forgetting to sleep in separate bunks, and unable to sleep when they do so. freezing halfway through absent-minded displays of affection, before hamming it up and pushing each other away

Although, maybe Clint would do this more than Natasha? Since she's usually portrayed as the consummate undercover operative. :)

Natasha is the consumate professional, classically trained in all forms, always perfection. Are you watching closely? You will believe the world works the way that she tells you, shows you, it does. (Magic can be wonderous, magic can be terrifying.)
