Secret Santa: Choices Post
Okay folks, here's how this works: below is an anonymised list of what people have said they would like to receive as a gift in the Secret Santa exchange. People taking part please reply to this post with a comment – which will be screened – saying what your FIRST, SECOND, and THIRD choices would be for what gift you’d like to create. We’ll use these choices to help match people up.

1. Deaf Clint. Anything with/around deaf Clint is loved. Mission. Natasha finding/figuring out. The reason why Clint hates check-ups. Clint taking the lead on a mission because he has certain skills (sign language, knowledge of deaf culture, lip reading). Anything goes and if you can include Deaf Clint in with other prompts you are amazing!! <3
2. Clint and Natasha on a mission being domestic. Like the mission is to play a married couple. (If you've ever seen Person of Interest thing the episode of Reese and Zoe). Basically Clint and Natasha are a "married" couple living in the suburbs keeping up appearances. Bonus points for including a teenage Kate Bishop to help sell the cover.
3. Clint captured and experimented on by HYDRA/Red Room. Natasha isn't going to let that happen and goes to save him (off SHIELD's radar // with no help from SHIELD // present day rebuilding SHIELD with no resources exist). Bonus points for (fraction) Kate Bishop as Natasha's backup; Something with wings for the experiment on Clint; Cute comfort between Natasha and Clint.
4. Crossover with Leverage. It is my head cannon that Elliot and Clint have totally served together. If you haven't seen Leverage then any sort of heist/con plot is more than welcomed.
5. Any sort of AU your brain can come up with.

My sci-fi weakness is the whole fake relationship deal. Like that Alias episode, or the X-files ep, the two have to pretend to be husband and wife and find they like it better than that whole 'partners, period' thing they were doing. Not exactly becoming preppy suburbanites in a new neighborhood, but more to pull one over on the press/team/mark and realizing how good it is. Or AU the whole thing and have one of them needing a significant other for...a thing.
Clint, Jessica, Matt: dumpster babies and friends; Claire, Trish, Nat: fishing their person out of said dumpsters and bonding/appreciating the others first aid/retrieval technique
Bobbi joins the team after leaving Shield, with or without Hunter, which leads to the three, or four, of them either falling back into old habits or developing new ones wherein they're all sleeping together.
Yes please: mission fic, fluff, h/c, 5+1 (or whatever number). competency (and it not being a zero sum game), finally getting together, the team lives together, knives, training, knowing the details about someone, international travel, motorcycles...I'll admit I'm not exactly sure what to put here, but I feel like all that should cover at least some of what's supposed to be there. As for other people, I like many of them, ie, Bobbi, Kate, Quake, Wanda, Thor, Sif, Pepper, Steve, Sam, Tony, Murdock, Jessica Jones, Maria--apparently I'm willing to toss anyone into the ring with them, relationship-wise or friend-wise. I do genuinely find their friendships interesting. The Bruce Thing...could have been handled SO much better (every bell that tolls me is my adopted cannon), so I'd sort of prefer to ignore it happened. And Jess could *really* use some training.

Canon Preference: honestly, whatever's working for Santa works for me. I suppose there's a tendency for me to prefer pretending the farm didn't happen, is part of a Clint/Nat/Laura life, or belongs to Laura, his sister. I read an excellent argument for that--there was thematic relevance and everything, cause he goes home to his sister while Wanda's brother died protecting Laura's (and that kid's). He never actually *says* wife, and a sibling would still be someone he'd want to protect and not disappoint.
TWELVE

I do genuinely find their friendships interesting. I read an excellent argument for that--there was thematic relevance and everything, cause he goes home to his sister while Wanda's brother died protecting Laura's (and that kid's). He never actually *says* wife, and a sibling would still be someone he'd want to protect and not disappoint.
