Hmmmm.... the timeline is a good question. I've been thinking about that (and I'll try and update the 'small acts' master post later today and put these in order). I'm pretty sure Bob's poem (linked to above) comes right before 'your heart is an open book.'
This one is tougher, because the sections encompass a longer period of time. But I think it's got to be after 'long way down' at the start, maybe very soon after that (I kind see him taking care of her there, the bath he draws for her, as kicking off that whole section.) As to when then last part happens, I think it all takes pace from then up until the events in the film. (and in my mind, in our dark evergreen, that's one of the reasons she starts stripping off her clothes-- because at that point, I think it has become a habit.) But I dunno. I'm open to other interpretations too. I actually feel much stronger about the chronology of Bob's.
