I'm pretty much always willing to listen to nice things being said about the Hufflepuff Nation. (Actually laughing out loud.) Last year at Dragon*Con I carried around a sign on a four-foot-tall post that said, "Hufflepuffs Rule - No, Really, We Run the World". Can I just say that I had a REALLY good time (a) having every Hufflepuff at Dragon*Con sign it and (b) explaining to all the Slytherins why I was right. (They were by far the most incensed at my claim.) :D
As long as I'm on the tangent, the explanation is this: everyone else is off having adventures - Slytherins are trying to take over/destroy the world (their words, not mine), Gryffindors are out stopping the Slytherins and having adventures, and Ravenclaws are working in their think tanks helping to figure out who can win the battles. That and figuring out all of the heavy charms work. So who does that leave to make sure the trains run on time? To stay home and keep the world actually *running* while everyone else is out going for the glory? The Hufflepuff:Ds. And you know, you're right - I could totally see Clint in that role.
Not that I have strong feelings about this or anything. ::cough:: (Again, actually laughing out loud.) :D
