General Interest Poll: In-Person Meet-Ups

There's been some discussion in the impromptu dance party thread about having in-person meet-ups (otherwise known as "mini-cons") at some point in the vague and misty future. (Personally? I'm all for this idea, because it's a TON of fun to watch/meta/flail with a bunch of other fans over just about anything.)

So I made a poll in google docs, to see if anyone else might be interested, and get some basic information so we can start planning such a thing (or things, you don't know. ;) )

PLEASE NOTE: There is NOTHING in this poll that records your personal information - not your name, your LJ handle, nada. I just want to get a general idea of what area(s) might have the most interest and what type of thing we might want to organize and so on. So please, take a moment and let us know how you feel about this. If you have any questions or concerns, please ask! :)

PLEASE NOTE (the second): You don't have to have/use google or gmail to see and respond to the poll, it's pretty much just a normal web page.

I'm learning American slowly! You have all these funny words for things, I can only add so many of them to my internal dictionary at once. (Although maybe if I take all the 'u's out of the words that are in there currently, that'll make space...)

(I'm quite pleased that there are fans in the area, too, way cool! Makes coming here an even better choice than it was already :D)

*grins* Thank you very much :D I am enjoying the FREEDOM, have yet to encounted a BALD EAGLE and have been to New Jersey, I do not know if that relates at all to the JERSEY SHORE at all. My stay so far has been good although classes start tomorrow so that could all change ;) I'll get an on-time night now in the hopes that I survive...

I spend most of my time in and around Chicago, but I'm currently studying abroad in Rome. I'll be back by December though!!
