Howdy, y'all!  

One of the friendly neighborhood mods popping in to say that while it's only been just over two weeks, as of today we're up to 149 members and 180 people watching this comm, which is, quite frankly, awesome.  The response has been overwhelming and I know I have personally been enjoying the hell out of all the fics and recs and graphics and icons and discussion and everything that's been posted here.  I still have a stack of fic I'm working my way through and it's all just so darn good.  Please keep the recs and the posts coming.

Someone mentioned the other day about doing an updated welcome post, since our first one was back when we had a dozen or so members.  And a random spammish talking post is always fun, so let's do another.  Consider this meet and greet Part 2, and feel free to say hi or bring any questions or discussion or anything fannish to the table.  It's great to see all the participation over here.  **SLOWCLAP OF APPROVAL**

AWESOME! Yay for pimpin' the comm! Woot! I seriously can't believe how many people have found this place. It seriously started with me, sugarfey, inkvines and thrace_adama talking at sugarfey's LJ (after I randomly found one of her C/N fics and totally crashed her LJ, I might add) about how nice it would be to have a little comm for posting fics and recc'ing stuff. And now this! So cool.

I haven't been in an active fandom in SO LONG and let me tell you, having fifty billion tabs of Clint/Natasha up all the time is the BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD. So much great fic *__* everyone is so talented *____*

Question though, (and I'm sorry if this has been answered already, I'm still wading back through posts) has anyone done a canon-overview of these two? I'm totally new to comics and have no idea what the full extent of their back story is. (I mean, I don't know anything about their personal histories either, but I'm really curious what their canonical history is together.) Any idea where I might find out about them?

Also, idk if we're allowed to pimp things here (mods, tell me to gtfo if this isn't allowed) but I made a Avengers Team Fic/Domesticity fanwork meme thing here (http://one-kitchen.livejournal.com/1063.html) and Clint/Natasha is totally allowed/encouraged because THEM <3 but yes, anyway. As far as I know, in comic canon Black Widow started out as a baddie who seduced Hawkeye so she could use him against Iron Man. Things went off and on from there, but I'm pretty sure they haven't been together in the comics for a while. Marvel movieverse seems to take some elements from the comics and then go its own direction. I think their movie relationship is a different beast to the comics. They do have a similar relationship in the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon.

As long as the pimping relates to Clint/Natasha, it's not only allowed, it's encouraged!
