Hello, all! The Secret Santa submission deadline is fast approaching.

So, here is your post for beta readers.

BETA READERS: are first readers for fics or first viewers for other creative works, handy from helping to spot mistakes to technical support to creative support.

As far as betaing goes, I can do most things though I'm by no means a professional. I'm not great at spelling myself but am pretty good at spotting mistakes that ruin the flow of reading. I can be as heavy handed (or not) as you want and am willing to flail/cheerlead/brainstorm as (and if) needed/wanted. :D

My biggest strengths are grammar, spelling and finding plot/character inconsistencies. I'm happy to help talk you out of a plot hole/off the ledge.

My preferred format is Word since it is very easy to red pencil and leave comments why-plus suggests changes in flow that are off to the side-but I can work with any format/google docs, etc.

I can do grammar, spelling, narrative logic and character voice/consistency. Plus, I can provide a bit of a reality check if you're doing a mission fic or anything that is set in the world of security, armed conflict, terrorism and transnational crime. ( Whoa, you say -- for Christmas???? Well, it's been done, besides, these guys are assassins for a covert agency, right? ;-) )
