This means she can consider who chose Valentine's Day for this undercover mission and devise ways to ensure it never happens again, all while preparing for the mission itself. She is calm, she is skilled, she is prepared to flirt and fall in love with whatever partner SHIELD has assigned her.

Then Clint Barton, the agent she hasn't seen since he looked at her through the scope of his recurve bow three months earlier, walks through the door.
