All The Things Friday - 3 Sentence Edition
Happy ATTF Friday! I missed hosting last week (we'll blame my parents visiting for that one) but remembered this week (because I is smart and put it in on my calendar this time)... So here we go! *g*
Three sentences. They can say a little or they can say a whole lot. They can be a tease or they can be the whole shebang. So today's challenge is crafted around that theme.
1) Post three lines from a WIP to show us what is coming up. Tease us, entice us, make us beg you for more!
OR
2) Be creative and write a complete fic for the Bar in just three lines. Bonus points for creative use of semi-colons, colons, dashes, and ellipses. ;)
Or hey, why not do both? Have a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend everyone!
Things to remember:
1) Always label NSFW (Not Safe For Work) stuff in the title and post under a cut.
2) Fic and artwork needs to have a rating and warnings (or you can say that you’ve chosen not to use warnings).
3) For people with annoying internet connections, say in the title if a comment is graphic/images/gif-heavy and post picspams under a cut.
4) Have a damn good time! (Because if that’s not happening then this post has clearly failed.)

Clint crowds close, but he braces himself with palms flat against the train carriage wall just above and either side of her head and plants his feet firmly, making himself a barrier between her and the rest of the overheated, tired commuters crammed on board; making Clint the closest anyone will be able to get to her.
Natasha can hide it, the same as she can hide anything, but she hates being stuck unmoving in crowded, closed-in places and she appreciates the gesture.
As much as she appreciates the opportunity to count his eyelashes, contemplate each pixel of colour in his irises, track the drops of sweat rolling down his neck, memorise the shape of his mouth; all pleasantly distracting.

and another three...
Trust Natasha Romanoff to get turned on when he expects her to be scared-angry-frustrated and in crowded public place where he can't do anything about it.
Not yet, he tells himself, presssing palms slick with sweat harder against the wall, willing them to stay put.

3 Sentences of a WIP
He follows them with his scope, turning on the night vision to sharpen his view into the dim bedroom. He sights them just as Barton drops her onto the bed, following her down with his hard body. Their kisses grow deeper, more frantic, more impassioned.

Three Sentence Fic!
"Why do you have to ruin everything?!"
Clint flinched as the slamming of Cooper's door cut threw him, ripping open anew the guilt wound that festered inside his heart.
He considered going in and braving the waters of teenage outrage, but a lack of rebuttal forced him to retreat, bag and bow in hand, to the ever welcoming arms of SHIELD.

But suits just to look cool and say, hey, look at me, I’m a superhero?
Barton says he had a purple one once with owl ears and sixties glasses frames which if true, ouch. And then Parker tells him that his first outfit was, like, made of an old cover he ripped off a couch on a street corner, but the fabric scratched horribly so he was pretty happy when Stark found him and they went designer.

Proof that inspiration can come from absolutely anywhere. (*blushes*) Can't wait to see where this goes. :)

"I wish you could see yourself right now", he murmurs huskily in her ear.
There's probably an equation between the amount of control you exercise in your daily life and how liberating it feels to give it up voluntarily every now and then -it has to be, to explain this addiction- but as Clint starts working his way up her body, Natasha rapidly finds herself not giving a shit.

Ever the professional in the public eye, even as her body betrayed her in the smallest of ways, she never gave any outward sign of doing more than accepting a dance invitation from her work partner – even if it was an evening and event (and backless dress) just like this one a few years ago that erupted into a steamy night of passion that settled into an impossibly loving and completely private relationship.
As Pepper and Tony brushed past the assassins on the dance floor, she met Natasha’s gaze and offered a knowing smile that said “completely private” was over-playing your hand because anyone sharing the experience can see it in others from a mile away.

And I love the hint at a Pepper and Natasha possible friendship.

sequel to the river fight I wrote during prompt-a-thon:
Which isn’t to say that Clint isn’t still vigorously annoying. If anything, he’s now triply annoying: once for whatever dumb thing he’s done; again because he pours charm all over his smile and her mind goes river, shoulders, moonlight; and again because she can’t believe she’s getting stupid over the idiot who just flicked a paper football into her coffee cup. “You’re the worst,” she tells him, dropping the projectile back on his desk; but he grins too innocently and her mind says river, shoulders, moonlight.
an upcoming segment of my ongoing series about Natasha joining SHIELD:
She remembers DC by darkness, her reflection flashing orange fluorescent in scratched Metro windows, and swishing her shadow around monuments seconds before an arrow could pin it down. In the daylight, it’s a whole new world: autumn orange-reds on trees and the Potomac glinting sunlight into her eyes. The view is even better from Fury’s top floor office, from what she can see, anyway; his lecture about responsibility and accountability and not fucking this up has him pacing back and forth in front of the panoramic window.
