Secret Santa: Let it Snow

A Gift From:
Title: Let it Snow
A Gift For: DW/LJ:
Rating: Safe for work.
Warnings/Choose Not To Warn: None.
Summary/Prompt Used: A short ficlet. Used prompt 1- 'Clint and Nat are on a mission from SHIELD (either in a remote part of Canada or any part of Europe (north of the Alps, Eastern Europe into Russia)). They have completed that mission, but right that day, a heavy snowstorm causes all the airports around them to close up for the holidays and they are, more or less, stuck in that town since all of the roads are closed up as well. Cue them spending some quality time together, celebrating Christmas (bonus if it's Natasha's first "real" Christmas, due to Western standards) with the things available to them in their location (another bonus if they get together in a romantic sense during that time)'.
Author's Note: Happy holidays!
Getting out of the remote part of Russia was, as it turned out, the hard part. The mission was easy. So, given that every road was snowed and iced over, and there was no hope of getting to the nearest airport, staying in the small safehouse it was.
“So, is this your worst Christmas?” Clint asked her as they sat on the floor by the fireplace. His tone was one of half amusement and half tiredness. Natasha shot him a glance with her green eyes that almost said ‘ha, very funny’, but what came out of her mouth was “Why would it be that bad?”
“Being stuck can’t be the best way to spend a holiday.” Clint shrugged.
“Compared to nothing in the red room, this is perfect. Quiet, nice fire, great company..” She trailed off as her lips cross into a smile.
“So, I’m great company?” Clint’s tone was teasing in a jokingly smug sort of way. She shoved him lightly wish a shoulder. “Don’t make me take that back.” She teased, as a look of mock horror crossed his face.
“You wouldn’t.” He said, still in faux horror. She laughed.
“You’re right. But I would do this.” And she leaned in to press a gentle kiss against his lips. It takes him off guard for a second, before he kisses back, singing into the feeling of her lips.
This definitely wasn’t her worst Christmas.
