On May 6, 2012, when this bar was opened, we had 4 (and yes, those four consisted of your beloved mods who saw a little film called Avengers and had some feelings and just wanted a place to find some fic and geek out.)

So, in honor of this momentous occasion, I hereby declare it to be Friday one day early. Well, we had it on the top-shelf next to the crazy, but then the stalking and the crazy got together and made your mods, so we decided that they needed seperating before any other such dangerous accidents occurred ;)

I need to do some more Scarlett icons to even things out - I make too many of Renner, heh. Recently snagged a bunch of lovely pretty pictures of her <3

But...but...the mods are so adorable and...okay yes, clearly this thread proves they are dangerous.

And I'm not sure there's really such a thing as too many Renner icons, as I'm contemplating paid accounts in order to accommodate as many as possible.

Between that and the squeals of glee everytime someone spams a new pic of this epic ship, the small people and my cats are looking at me like I've lost my mind.

I KNOW! I'm in thin-walled student accomodation these days and I keep clapping a hand over my mouth to stop my neighbours from wondering what's so hilarious about sitting in a room on my own with a ton of academic work to do lol.

I am so, so glad I finished my degrees before fandom swallowed me whole. My academic ambitions would never have competed with *hand waves* this. Also, am friending you out of utter icon adoration.

That would be a brilliant thesaurus! (Also, I have this problem now where someone says things like this bit of brilliance and I want to go and leave it as a prompt! Clint and Natasha's thesaurus! Or the Avengers have to figure out a Master Assassin to English dictionary! But, alas, the promptathon is closed for prompts. Meh.)

Ha, I did my degree, went to work for three years, and came back to uni to do a Masters. (One month left to finish my dissertation, argh.) I was keeping quiet in fandom because yeah, it's far too easy to get sucked in, especially when you don't have to keep normal working hours and you're online a lot of time for research, but...well, I have no will power against these things *grins*.

I did not finish my dissertation after being upended by my profs. When I went to work my employers were like, you need unlimited internet access to perform your job and I was...noooo, bad bad idea.
