Question For My Lovelies...

So I noticed the other day that another community did awards, like fanfic awards, and best art awards, and stuff like that. It seemed like a great way to celebrate some of the amazing stuff that's posted on this community. I was just curious if there's something similar here, and if not, was it something people would be interested in?

EDIT: Maybe we could do like an epic bookmark thing instead? Everyone goes through favorite fics till we have like the biggest rec list ever from every category, including art. Then it's not a competition?

I was thinking do it like this:

It was basically just the premise of "it has to involve sex" and then people could prompt/request away, be as naughty or as nice as they wanted, write fics as long or as short as they wanted and the organisers would just keep an eye out for everything and have a continuesly updated master list :)

We could/should, of course, include art in that as well.

And ... geesh, the things it makes you DO! xD I somehow wrote a "arthur f**** gwen with the hilt of exalibur" fic ... and I'd never written smut before in my life (aaww, those blessed days of innocence xD)

Instead of prompts, how about something slightly different. Like maybe a grid? For Christmas in one fandom we had to write a fic for each word or association on the grid till we did them all. It could be fic or art. In the end people who participated got banners. Just a thought... We just do a lot of prompts in this fandom. Lol

... hmm. also a posibility ... have to admit though - I LOVE PROMPTATHONS *coughs* always wanted to run one and now mamma has her chance XD

But obviously not if it's not wanted :)

On the other hand, I am pretty sure we could include the grid thing into the april event treasure hunt thing ... or ... I dunno ... don't wanna squash your idea :/

Hiya! I've been trying to keep track of all the ideas on this post - wow, there are a lot! *beams* What I'd say is, we're gonna have to spread things out over the year and I've counted about five (?) suggestions for Valentines so far (and I can't remember if that's including from the mod chat or not lol) so please do have thinky thoughts and ideas and chat about them, and then email or PM us mods with a rough plan or outline of as many as you like and we'll see what's going on, if they work here or need to be on a different set up, when might work best for them, who's willing to organise, how to organise, how they fit in with what other people have been asking us for...and all that jazz. Looking forward to hearing all about them :D
