O.M.G.

Below is a link to a casting call that went out for Avengers 2. It's got some spoilers so beware, but it also contains some things that might be relevant to your interests. Still waiting on confirmation that this is for real but for now, have fun. :)

Is it 2015 yet? Happy Friday, ya'll.

P.S. - Here's a link to the source they're quoting from. Has some additional info.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I'm afraid to hope. But between this and Joss' statement (SPOILER IF IF YOU DIDN'T READ THIS!)---------------

that Hawkeye's dialog is the most fun to write, since Clint was so silent most of the first movie, I'm trying really hard not to get too excited. I'm petrified that Joss will kill him off.

I know Joss is trigger happy with his characters....but if he kills off my hawk Ill will never forgive him.

And when my favorites die....my hatred for te writers are born.....ask the writers of Torchwood and Stargate Atlantis for killing my Ianto and Elizabeth.

So yeah better not happen because Hawkeye is my (and Natasha's) man I love him too much to say goodbye.

I'm not sure Joss is actually allowed to kill off Hawkeye per his own wish - Marvel would have to approve it first, I think, since Marvel owns him. However, I'm pretty sure Joss is very capable of causing heartbreak without killing someone off. We'll see, and I think Marvel tends to keep their movies on the lighter side of things, even if they touch serious themes (just look at Iron Man 3 and how things there were done). So I think Hawkeye is reasonably safe.
