ATTF: New Mod & Friending Meme

findthesea to all the modly contact information on the comm. We've now increased the mod team to five people to keep up with you lovely lot! So warm, best bar welcome to findthesea!
We're also seeing new faces and returning faces in the bar following Age of Ultron, so welcome and welcome back!
And this all seems like a good time for a getting-to-know you, friending style, All The Things Friday. So copy and paste the following into a comment, grab yourself a drink from the bar, and let’s have some fun!
Things to remember:
1) Always label NSFW (Not Safe For Work) stuff in the title and post under a cut.
2) Fic and artwork needs to have a rating and warnings (or you can say that you’ve chosen not to use warnings).
3) For people with annoying internet connections, say in the title if a comment is graphic/images/gif-heavy and post picspams under a cut.
4) Have a damn good time! (Because if that’s not happening then this post has clearly failed.)

How many times have you seen Age of Ultron (so far)? Only once--life has just been crazy lately.
Camping out at the farm, by that river in Egypt, in a world of AUs anyway, or another camp all together? All the camps!
Give us 3 sentences or a teaser of something creative, fic or otherwise, that you’re working on: This is actually from a super-old prompt from this comm, which I one day swear to finish:
Natasha spent a solid hour under the hot water of her shower, the luxury of which still didn’t take the edge off her annoyance with Stark, but that was as much about her own issues with holding onto grudges as it did with how annoying he truly had ended up being. She was still too wired to sleep, and thought about going to see whether Clint was in the same state, but he’d spent the two days in Russia tucked into a notch in a hillside, freezing his ass off and waiting for the shot. Natasha completely understood his aversion to the cold and that it was deeply rooted in his most basic childhood memories and fears. She fully supported however he chose to cope with that. She just wasn’t sure her present reserves of patience were enough to deal with Clint in the full-on bitchtastic mode into which she knew he’d flung himself.

What things do you love to see in fics/creative works, what’re a few of your favourite things? friends-to-lovers, found family, team fic--one of these is probably in every single thing I've ever written.
If someone were to win the lottery and we had a community con (in Budapest, of course), suggest a panel, activity, event etc. you would like there to be: I would hand out my Marvel Unlimited password and we could all sit around and share our favorite C/N moments in all their glorious permutations.
Any other fandoms: Just writing in Marvel/MCU, but watching Miss Fisher and OUaT and still dipping in and out of SPN, Castle and Pacific Rim
The last book you read/film you watched/song you listened to: I'm currently reading Station Eleven (a traveling Shakespearean company in a post-pandemic collapsed civilization--as my boss said, 'of course you are'.) Last movie was AoU (like I said, it's been craaaaazy. Last song was something by Kiasmos (I have them on a loop while I work)
What should a new friend know about you/your LJ and/or what are you looking for in an LJ friend? I tend to natter on about RL. All my meta comes out in my fic. I will shortly start whinging about what I'm going to cosplay at DragonCon at the end of the summer. I have been around fandom for a realllllly long time.

That snippet is from (of all things) a prompt about how Natasha should be the better cook of the two. There is currently molecular gastronomy involved (it's Pepper's fault.) :D I pull it out whenever I'm stuck on everything else and poke away at it. Someday, I will look up and it will be finished (she says, with a hopeful nod.)

You'll have to share what you decide cosplay as! I always go at least one or two days as a Hufflepuff - one year I carried around an 8-feet-tall sign that said something like "Hufflepuff is Awesome". I got like 200 signatures. :-)
