HELLO EVERYONE IN THIS WONDERFUL BAR. Today we are four! How brilliant is that?! Four years, 927 members, and 37,719 comments – and more by the time this post goes live, I’m sure. That’s an incredible amount of promptathons, exchanges, challenges, discussions, and a HUGE outpouring of creativity, not to mention how positive, welcoming, friendly, and just plain awesome you all are.

So to celebrate, in true be_compromised fashion, we’re going to have ourselves a good old-fashioned getting-to-know-you community friending party post! Chat to new and old community friends, add each other as LJ friends if you like or don’t, no pressure, just PARTY. Free drinks at the bar, grab yourselves a slice of cake, and for goodness’ sake be careful with the pass the parcel, someone probably put weaponry in there.

MCU, comics, or all the things?
All the things. Dancing on way too many weddings here. XD

Have you seen Captain America: Civil War yet?
Ayup. Saw it last Sunday. And only once, because it's not playing in our local theater and I can't afford to go to Hannover more than once for one movie, sigh.

When it comes to our two favourite assassins do you have them camping out at the farm, by a river in Egypt, living in an alternate universe anyway, or some other camp entirely?
Living in an alternate universe in Egypt. Farm? What farm?

What things do you love to see in fics/creative works; what’re a few of your favourite things?
I love creativity, and the willingless to play with the source canon, tumble it over and see how it falls back together.

Fantasy Team: put together a team – of Avengers, SHIELD Agents, whatever kind of team you like – using any Marvel characters. Who’s in this team? What have they teamed up for/how on earth did this team come about?
Uhm, uh. Ah. Hmm. Clint, Nat, May, and Daisy. Just. For missions. Because reasons. Also, Steve, Sam, Bucky and T'Challa. Yes. Nat can visit there too. All the Nat. Nat everywhere. Ohh, and Clint and Deadpool, because hilarious.

From What If We Were Symphonies, Clint/Nat/Bucky in which Clint is asexual:

She finds him sitting in the living room the next morning, socked feet propped up against the coffee table, failing his way through a video game. He's terrible at those, but he loves playing. When she first moved in, Natasha thought that was a bit out of character; Clint's usually in it to win it. That kind of stubbornness and endurance is what made him who he is today, and it took her awhile to understand that sometimes, when it doesn't matter and there are no stakes, he just needs to allow himself to be awful at this one thing.

When he notices her in the doorway, he turns his head and smiles. The TV beeps in alarm; that moment of divided attention cost his figure in the game its life. He sets the controller down, leaning back, puts his head on her shoulder once she's sat next to him.

“I've been thinking about your idea,” Natasha says. She holds herself still in order to notice whether he shifts or tenses, any sign that the topic makes him uncomfortable, but he just looks up, quirks an eyebrow, and she continues. “I could say I'm not tempted, but that'd be a lie, and I don't lie to you.”

I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning by franztastisch, which will make you cry. Ugly-cry. Several times over. Whether that's a warning or an enticement is up to you. ;)

What merchandise do you wish existed, or the favourite fan thing you own?
I own AOU!Clint and CACW!Nat pop figures, and that's about it on merch. Tons of comics though. So so so many comics.

You’ve brought something to this party – food, drink, party things - what did you bring?
Homemade Tzatziki, made with a generous amount of garlic.

Any other fandoms you're currently into:
SO MANY. Currently being taken over the most by The 100, though, I must admit. Still figuring out whether I should be sorry for that. XD

The last book you read/film you watched/song you listened to:
Last film was 10 Cloverfield Lane, which was pretty good. Currently reading American Gods, which is great too. And right now I'm listening to A Girl And His Cat by Biffy Clyro.

What should a new friend know about you/your LJ and/or what are you looking for in an LJ/online friend?
I'm random, I have too many fandoms and interests, and I'm on LJ in spurts and fits. Also I'm a notorious enabler and contagious smut writer. Don't say I didn't warn you. :P

I am excited for the Clint/Nat/Bucky with asexual Clint! (And I'm finding the fic where Fraction!Cliint travels to the MCU fascinating, if I haven't said that many times already; I feel like I can keep saying that many, many times.)

Ughhhh I like asexuality fics, and super duper like OT3 fics, and I've been waiting for some good Nat/Bucky/someone stories, I keep prompting them in fests, living in hope... So, uh, how's the writing going on that one? :D
