One of my recent stories had him reading "Little Women" over and over because fuck you that's why. (See also: the scene with Bruce in "Naked Pantomime" in which Clint just HAPPENS to have a copy of Dr. Doolittle in his bag.)

The way the '...Fucking Stark' is just tagged on there reminds me of the Barrowman fist shake in the Doctor Fandom or the cry of 'RIVER' from the Firefly cast whenever anything goes wrong. Makes me think that after that crappy assignment Natasha had with Stark, when she kept phoning and texting Clint going 'you would not believe what shit he's got up to know', 'Fucking Stark' became like a catch phrase for them. Mission gone bad? Fucking Stark. Fury run out of coffee and on a rampage? Fucking Stark. Supplies gone missing? Fucking Stark. And the thing is, the more they get mixed up with the Avengers and the more Stark gets involved with SHIELD, it actually is his fault a hell of a lot of the time these days...

And then you know it's become a thing when something goes wrong and everyone hears Stark mutter, "Fucking Stark."

Bwahaha, YES! Like they're all sat around being debriefed, absolutely worn out after a hair-raising (and hair getting caught on fire (Natasha) and hair getting covered in purple alien brains (Thor)) mission, all fed up beyond belief, whilst Fury is raging at them...and then Agent Hill sticks her head in around the door and interupts with a, 'Sir? We have a situation.' And it's something crazy and the Avengers have to go out AGAIN and Tony picks up his face-plate from the table and mutters "Fucking Stark."

At which point Fury raises his eyebrow in a 'did I hear what I think I just heard?' way, Agent Hill has a blank face whilst totally agreeing with the sentiment, and Clint bursts out laughing whilst Natasha cracks a smile.
