sunny_serenity and quennessa pretty much sorted out this chapter. My original plan was crap, but their beautiful thoughts saved the day and told me what I needed to do. All the love. Also to Bob, my codependent co-enabler and fellow architect of Evil.
This chapter contains, in the following order: Clintrospection, Mrs. M (aka, Betty White) being a badass and telling everyone what-for, knight-errant-cowboy issues, banter, healing, buddycop!feels, did I mention knight-errant-cowboy issues OUT THE WAZOO?, longing, and cuddle!porn. I may have also added inappropriate levels of swoon. Because Reasons.
