So, with the Secret Santa posting about to start (hooray!!!) I thought I'd take a moment and point a few things you can do to keep up with posts and comments. Particularly since there's not an offical LJ FAQ about how to do this that I've been able to find. If you know where it's hiding, please let me know.

This will be particularly useful if you:
1. Want to keep track of any comments on the fic/art/gift you made, since they're being posted anonymously and you won't automatically receive notifications of any replies. Once you see your work posted, you can choose to track the comments for that particular entry. Please remember NOT to reply to comments on your work and give away your identity until after the reveals!

2. You want to be sure you receive notification about new posts in the community so you don't miss any of the wonderful presents! (And let me just say, they really are fantastic and y'all have outdone yourselves!)
3. This will be useful information if/when we have another Prompt-a-thon, and also makes keeping up with larger posts like the All The Things Friday posts easier if you tend to live out of your e-mail inbox.

So. Just like you can tell LJ to send you an e-mail letting you know if someone has replied to a post or comment you've made somewhere on the site, you can:

Track a post (i.e. receive notification whenever someone comments on a post) )

If you have any questions, please let me know and I'll try to help. :D Enjoy the exchange!!!

Sneaking in before the Secret Santa swap fully kicks off. I wrote a couple of Clint/Natasha fics last night for [livejournal.com profile] crazy4orcas and [livejournal.com profile] anuna_81 just because it was fun. They’re both short, but they’re fun, so I thought I’d share.

Title: Talking like Peter Lorre

Warnings: Circle of life (mentions of animals eating other animals/food chain)
Summary: Clint has a very important question for fellow zoologist, Dr. Natasha Romanoff. Or: the one where they’re studying penguins and whales in Antarctica.
Length: 1054 words

Title: Miracle
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Violence, allusions to dying, some language, baby!fic, non-explicit sex, unplanned pregnancy, allusions to alien impregnation, mentions of past abuse

Hello everyone!

Aaand here we are! Just a little bit more before the gift posting begins ([livejournal.com profile] cybermathwitch tells me everything is ready!); and I hope you're all excited about it just as I am.

I want to thank you all - all participants, beta readers, icon and art makers, treat writers, cheerleaders, friends ... EVERYONE who participated in any way. A big huge thank you to our mods who agreed to this and allowed me to organize this exchange, and everyone who offered to help, everyone who helped in any way (actually guys? I think all of you did a lot more work than I did) - just thank you, EVERYONE, so so so much!

Few things before we start? Keep checking the comm, because there will be new gifts (stories, art, gift baskets) every day. Every day! :D Tell your friends, pimp out, read, leave comments as much as you can because everyone worked hard; share the love, but most of all have fun! (Psst, also, make sure you wait until after the author reveal to answer the comments left to the gift you made). The gift posting ends on 7th January, and we'll have the big reveal the next day. :D

What else? If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me or [livejournal.com profile] cybermathwitch and we'll do our best to help you. Other than that, I hope you're all having fun and wonderful holidays! Merry Christmas, happy holidays, I'm so happy to share this awesome bar with all of you, you guys really made my year. Here's to more! *raises a glass*
