Title:  The Skies Over Manhattan
Author:  [livejournal.com profile] alphaflyer

Word Count:  22,000 (Chapter 3:  app 9,000)
Rating:  T
Warnings:  None, really. The occasional spot of angst on Clint's side.
A/N:  Thor.  We don't really see enough interaction between him and Clint (or Natasha), except for that old trope where he hogs the popcorn (and -tarts) during movie night.  (If you know of a story where they have an adult conversation, please rec!!!)  Anyway, this is the third part of my post-Manhattan vignettes, in which Clint (and Natasha, although to a lesser extent) figure out how and where they fit in this team of superheroes and mere humans.  Lots of incidental Clint/Natasha interaction as they, too, learn about new relationships (my head canon has them getting together in the aftermath of Loki's takeover attempt).

You find it on

Amazing how much editing and writing you can get done while in recuperation mode.  (Thanks to all those of you who sent good wishes for my Big Surgical Adventure -- I love this bar and the people in it!!)

I am very much not a graphic artist, but I did try something for the February header challenge. It was fairly disastrous as I either destroyed everything I created, or it was too big, or it looked bizarre, or ... the list goes on. Yeah. Epic fail, people. I went ahead and shared the only one that was the correct dimensions for the challenge because I liked the concept so much, but it wasn't the best one (by far).

The graphic I managed to make that I liked the most I am including below the cut because it is much better than the one that I submitted for the contest and it really is a fun concept. I think it's big enough to use as a screensaver or just to enjoy or just to see how cute our favorite assassins would have been as children.

Feel free to take - just let me know. Because that would stun and delight me. *laughs*

Still not perfect, but it was fun to make. )
