Title: Learning to play the song in your heart

Warnings: mild sexual content, unplanned pregnancy, canon compliant abuse in the past, past miscarriage, fertility issues
Summary: There was something about that entire moment. About the fact that he wanted to have next of kin and the way he was pressed up against her stomach, and the fact that he had both her and her daughter in his arms. It seemed like a good place to settle into.
When Natasha chooses to keep an unplanned pregnancy, Clint decides to help her in any way he can. Only, it turns out to be more difficult than he expected.
Author's notes: this is one of those stories that just don't leave you alone. They demand to be told and refuse to leave you until you set them free. I'm aware that this isn't something some of you would call an ideal romance, that it's not a pleasant situation, but life is often comprised of unpleasant, less than ideal situations, and in those situations real friendships and love are tested. I appreciate any kind of feedback if it's delivered in polite and civilized fashion. Please let me know what you thought.
A/N 2: just a couple of notes. Thanks to few of my friends I’ve always imagined Bobbi Morse with brown hair. IDEK. Also, in this fic, Kate Bishop is twenty five-ish years old. Obviously I borrowed from comics and changed things a little bit, I hope you don’t mind.
