Today's submission is from [livejournal.com profile] icecream_junkie. To see your fic featured here, send a 500-1000 word snippet to bc.unfinished@gmail.com. Please remember to include a rating, warning, and your LJ name!

Rating: PG-13
Warning: Beware of the kiss – blink and you might miss it. ;)

Author’s note: This story was inspired by this lovely picture and has been sitting on my hard drive for a while now, because I just don’t know how to continue. All I know is that I do not want to turn this into PWP and would like a happy ending for our two assassins, but other than that I have no idea where to go with this. Therefore thoughts, comments and constructive criticism are very welcome. :)

I didn't post Chapter 9 here on its own because Clint/Natasha wasn't the focus, but they're back now, so you get a double update!

Title: Adjectives Assemble (9&10/?)
Author: [livejournal.com profile] sugar_fey
Fandom: The Avengers/Marvel 616
Pairing/Characters: Clint Barton/Natasha Romanoff, Steve Rogers/Maria Hill, Carol Danvers/Jessica Drew, Kate Bishop/Cassie Lang, Bobbi Morse
Rating: Mature
Warnings: sexual references in both chapters.
Author's Note: Thanks enigma731 for the beta and to everyone who left feedback!

Summary: Natasha wants to find that rare edition of The Master and Margarita before her rival at the Russian language bookstore does. Kate is distracted by the cute barista next door. Carol and Jessica dance around each other. Maria just wants to keep her business afloat without being bothered by pesky police officers or high school art teachers, no matter how polite they may be.

Another average day at Adjectives Assemble.

For the month of October we challenged the bar to make some Halloween themed banners, from spooky fun, to the supernatural, to Master Assassins being their competent scary selves! Feast your eyes on these, and remember to vote by Midnight GMT Monday 30th September.

BANNERS BEHIND THE CUT )

To vote: comment on this post with the number of the banner you’d like to win at the top of your comment as a word and in capital letters eg. NINE If you want to say anything else in your comment (praise, questions, whatever) please do that as a new paragraph, or leave a line or something, so that there’s no confusion over which banner you’re voting for. Thanking you!
