Hello guys and gals and everyone in between!

This is a reminder that the deadline for the [community profile] be_compromised AU Exchange is five days away, on Saturday 5th September. If you think you will be unable to complete your submission before that time, please contact me ASAP so we can either assign a pinch hitter or, potentially, give you an extension.

For this exchange, like all our others, there will be a collection on AO3. For those of you who don't know how to post something to an AO3 collection, please follow the guide below. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
  1. Fill in all fields as you usually would when posting something to AO3
  2. Halfway down the page, you should find a box that says "Post to Collections / Challenges". In this box, type in "be_compromised AU Exchange". This should bring up an option that says "be_compromised AU Exchange (be_compromised_AU_exchange)". Click that.
  3. Continue posting your submission as usual.
This guide can be used to post to any collection on AO3. All [community profile] be_compromised collections have "be_compromised" (with underscore) in the name, so typing that in will bring them all up (e.g. be_compromised Bingo and be_compromised Secret Santa) with the exception of the Be Compromised Promptathon collection (no underscore) which is maintained by an old mod. I'm going to try and gain access to that collection so I can fix it, but I don't know the old mod at all so it might not happen *shrugs*

I would suggest that if you have submitted ahead of the deadline, that on the day submissions are revealed (Sunday 6th September unless extensions have been granted) you edit your work to change the posting date to 6th September so your submission will come at the top of the Clint/Nat (or other) pairing page on AO3, ensuring the largest readership. To do this, please follow the guide below:
  1. Click "Edit" at the top right corner of your published work.
  2. Five options below the option to "Post to Collections / Challenges", you will find "Set a different publication date". Click that ticky box and change your publication date to 6th Sept 2020.
  3. Click "Post".
As above, these steps can be used to change the publication dates of your works to whatever you like.
