Author's notes: this was written as a companion piece to Those arms (which was written during the promptaton, to the prompt that asked Natasha as a singer/musician). The discussion about "bookish Clint" inspired this story, because that was one of the things my first fic implied. Clint tends to be a stubborn character to write, and while he isn't exactly bookish, you can't deny him depth.
