Sorry for the late reply, but I am so glad that you wrote this! This is absolutely beautiful! You captured both of them perfectly and I really liked the addition of Sam and Steve. When I read zombie fics I tend to favor these type of fics, where the focus is more on the survivors than the actual zombies and killing. You left so many questions about people's pasts that it left me wanting more even after the fic was done. The way that you interwove the sweet scenes with the harsh, cruel reality of the apocalypse works very well to the point where I teared up a bit at the end. Part of me wants to hope that Clitn survived, but knows that would not suit the hard world of the apocalypse. Thank you so much!
