I gave that IW advice to a friend/colleague whose kid is on the squeamish side, No, no, no, nope. Not be seeing that one ....

I remember showing Jurassic Park for family movie night and my then-12-year-old kidlet storming out during the ripped-off arm scene, shouting "What kind of parent are you, thinking this was an appropriate movie for me to watch??"

Now, that same kidlet has gone to see IW with me twice, and is drooling at the idea of Deadpool. They do get older!
