(Ok, honest? One of, if not *the best* experience of my life was sitting in a room with about 70 other Scapers, watching a first-run episode of Farscape at the very first ScaperCon. You have not LIVED until you have been crowded together around a sports bar TV in a bar YOU HAVE ALL TAKEN OVER watching something like that together. It was just... I have no words. Nothing does it justice.)

I have all kinds of starry-eyed dreams of some kind of a C/N fan-run con someday. Even if it's the "we'll all get rooms in the same hotel some place and have a giant weekend-long room-party" type we used to do back in the day.
