Title: Hymn from a Village
Fandom: MCU
Rating: PG-13
Pairings: Clint/Natasha
Wordcount: 1,147
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: Watch me as I write fiction about fiction. Also, if I owned these characters, they’d have at least a film trilogy to themselves by now. And each one would be written and directed by Joss Whedon.
Beta: The wonderful shenshen77, who has been wonderful once again.
Notes: Written for dictator_duck’s hometown challenge. I was never going to try writing about my uni town of London, because that’s boring. So I tried York, where I live now, but that totally didn’t work for me. So you’re getting the tiny village of Slaidburn in Lancashire where I grew up. Everything written here about it is true, down to Isobel at the pub. Oh and if you want to see Slaidburn, type BB7 3ER into Google Maps. Yes, it really is that small. The title comes from a song by James.
Summary: They passed a sign in front of the small church informing them that they were entering Slaidburn, and it became very apparent that this was one of those small British villages that, in your old age, you would talk fondly of growing up in.
Rating: G
Genre: Hurt/comfort
Type: One-shot
Spoilers: General spoilers for the movie.
Summary: Two months after the Battle of Manhattan, Clint and Natasha are still trying to find their footing when a mission for S.H.I.E.L.D. leads them to a small Colorado town.
A/N: *waves*
I've been lurking for a while, and though I've posted fics for Clint and Nat on FF.N, I hadn't yet had a chance to move my fics over to my LJ, or to post here. The hometown challenge inspired me though, and it seemed like a good time to stop lurking. :)
Though I decided not to use the name of my hometown - I'm admittedly a little paranoid - the Colorado town described in the fic is the town I still call home.
A/N2: I thank my Lord Jesus Christ for his incredible mercy and grace.
I hope you enjoy this, and please let me know what you think!

Pairing/Characters: Clint/Natasha, Sitwell
Length: ~4400 words
Rating: Mature
Notes: Written for the Hometown Challenge--I've lived in a lot of places (hi, Army brat) but DC is always in the running for one of my favorite places to be.
Summary: Clint doesn't care where they take their leave, only that they take it together.
Link: AO3
Rating: G
Summary: Natasha is always a professional. Clint is a professional as well, he just likes to have a little fun along the way.

Title: Art Nouveau
Rating: PG-13 (mission-type violence)
Wordcount: ~2750
Disclaimer: I own nothing, though I wouldn't mind a Clint or Jeremy :D
Warnings: None past mission style violence, karaoke and fluff. Although if I have missed something, please let me know!
Summary: A Hydra cell is setting up shop in a quaint German university town. Clint and Natasha get sent in to take care of the problem and just might discover more than Art Nouveau architecture in the process…
Inspired by dictator_duck's challenge to write fics set in our hometowns. This is my first Clintasha fic and the first fic over 600 words that gets posted anywhere, so yay :D It also features a plot bunny I had running around my head since September, I think... There might be a second part in the works, because after UST comes RST and apparently I write smut now… Feedback is very much appreciated :D I also think I went a bit overboard with the tags, but better too many than too few, right?
An extra special thanks t alphaflyer, who took the time to read this over not once but twice, all while preparing a New Year’s Eve feast for 20 people. You rock, my friend!
Also posted on my LJ and on AO3.

Rating: PG-13 for swearing and drinking of minors (though not against the law in the country it happens in).
Word Count: 2300
Summary:
There was nothing wrong with Germany, nothing whatsoever. Great beer and pastries and sausages, as far as Clint was concerned. But whenever he ended up in Germany, it was to places like Frankfurt, Hamburg or Düsseldorf. Not in a 15.000 souls-back-alley of a place where, evidently, life used to happen.

I just needed to get it done with, because I probably won't have the time starting next year.
All the cities mentioned in this story are actually cities I've lived in for longer or smaller periods of my life, but Langenberg is the one I grew up in, that I still call my home even today.
The three teens and what they do in this story? Totally not me and my bffs OR totally not something me and my friends used to do (*coughs* except it totally is *coughs*) ...

( To give you an idea - Langenberg: )
We now have four fics (!) in roughly 24 hours (!!), and
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
...I'm still stuck in the planning stage, haha -- don't feel overwhelmed if you want to write one and haven't yet! :D This is going to go for as long as people are writing them. \o/ All the fics.
Also, if you are not on Ao3 but want to post to the collection, lemme know and I'll see what I can do. For... reasons? I don't want to say anything, because it'll feel like a promise (in writing!), and I have no grounds to make any. But on the *staring at the collection so all fics that want to be in it can be* front.

Summary Some assignments are ... less exciting than others
Authors Notes: nspired b dictator_duck's prompt to write a story incorporating our hometown. I lived in London/Ontario for a number of years, when I first moved to Canada, so I consider it my Canadian home town. And yes, the University of Western Ontario is where I got most of my far-too-many degrees. But I also lived in the *real* London for three years and believe me -- the two Londons could not be more different. But lest anyone could doubt my fondness for the lesser one, I do like it, really. It's pretty. And nice. And ... quiet. Really really quiet. (Especially when the students are gone ...) I don't live there anymore.

Just to warn you, it's a little cracky, and it starts in media res. You can read it here on my LJ.
(Super informally, no one's got to die or eat fifty bajillion croissants.)
Over on the Friday post we've been discussing how it's hard to write cities we don't know, so:
(Mission or otherwise, serious or crack!)
THEN POST IT HERE (er, in the bar, not... this post. Unless you want to do both? I will read your fic!). And, um, get... reviews? It will be fantastic.
