Marvel's The Avengers Prelude Comics
Hi @ all!

Apart from a few silly comments here and there this is my first post in this lovely community.
*hands out cookies*

Even though this community came to be thanks to the movieverse I thought I try my luck with a question about comics here anyway. I've just checked Amazon for Avengers comicbooks and came across a series called "The Avengers Prelude". Since it's only 4 volumes (or 1 if I buy the German one) it sounds like a great series to start with if I want to get into Avengers comicbooks. After all, there are so many issues and series that I wouldn't even know where to start. However as the "Prelude"-series is more or less a movie tie-in, I'm wondering if it's worth buying or if I should spend my money on the "real" comic series. Has anyone read "The Avengers Prelude"? Is the series any good?

@ Mods: I hope I tagged this post right.

There's a comic called 'The Avengers Initiative,' which actually has some cute Clint/Natasha flirtation.

There's also an ongoing movie tie-in comic called 'Avengers Assemble,' where they make out in one issue.

Hm... sounds like I should consider those as well. ;)

I also recommend Black Widow: The Name of the Rose. It's BRILLIANT.
