People's Choice Awards voting is OPEN

The People's Choice Awards voting is open. And the Avengers? Wheee!!!! THEY ASSEMBLED! Downey, Hemsworth, Evans, all nominated. Renner? No. *sad face* But you can vote for the following:

Avengers is up for
- Best Movie
- Best Action movie
- Best Franchise

Scarlett Johansson (like a BOSS) is nominated twice. She's up for
- Best Actress
- Best Face of Heroism (huh?)

AND OUR SHIP, OUR FREAKING YACHT is up for Best Onscreen Chemistry!

Go Vote! Early and Often! (Because from the nominations, it looks like Channing Tatum fandom has turned out in droves.)

I feel guilty. I obviously didn't vote often enough ... sniff ... BUT the chemistry thing is good -- that's how producers get hints about what movies should get made ... :-)

As for the 'none of the above' categories, I just skipped those. Luckily the thing lets you move on to the next category without actually voting ...

Yeah, there were a couple of categories where I was definitely looking for the "NONE of the above!" option.

I feel like Natasha is one of the few real heroes out of the group they had for the females.

I'm glad Jeremy Renner at least got up there for onscreen chemistry.

Well, Robert Downey Jr. or movies he's in are nominated in 6 categories, and Tatum or his movies have 7 nominations. I found that kinda astounding. Either he's got a fandom, or his mother has been VERY busy.

The Eagle is an amazingly good movie that did a lot of clever things - G.I. Joe didn't do anyone any favours. I hear excellent things about Magic Mike, but I haven't seen it.

But you know, he's a decent enough actor who works steadily (which means quality of movies is touch and go, as it is with most career actors who don't get paid Hollywood A-List salaries - which includes Renner himself), so, yeah, he'd have fans.

Sorry for being serious, it's just, you know we don't exactly have to put down the competition ;)

Yeah I think the problem that is every time I see him I have traumatic GI Joe flashbacks. Do you think we could just get Hollywood to agree that that movie never happened?
