Getting paid to write fan fiction. My dream!!! And you're right, it looks kinda good ...

Maybe if we all buy it Joss will turn it into a movie??

Oops. I just left a comment, then realized I hadn't logged in (doing this from work at lunch ...) So, the one about paid fan fiction and Joss Whedon, that was me (redfaced).

ETA: comment was screened -- so in case it doesn't show up, I remarked on how being paid to write fan fiction is a dream come true, and maybe if we all bought the book Joss Whedon might turn it into a movie... A girl can dream, right?

I'm torn whether it would be the best job ever or whether it would kill my love of a show. It probably depends on the source - some tie-ins jobs come with a heap of restrictions so that the writer's hands are totally tied (with the unsurprisingly uninspired results). But I've read some that were brilliantly creative, especially in Star Trek.

I went 'yikes' when I saw the price of this one... almost 20 Euro here, but I don't think I'll have the patience to wait for a softcover edition, or even for reviews.

A bit silly how much I'm looking forward to this. YAY! *grins*
