Ok, the submission deadline is almost here! And we have several things to go over. So as not to overwhelm your f-list, I've put everything under the cut.

First order of business: I've heard back from everyone except for the following people. If you're on this list, I need to know if you're still participating, what you're making (fic, art, etc) and if you'll be done on time. Please let me know ASAP in case we need to arrange for pinch-hitters to take over.

2. Where/How to send your gifts:

Submissions need to go to cybermathwitch(at)gmail(dot)com (replacing the (at) with @ and the (dot) with . of course).

FIC: please submit your fic in one of the following formats: attached to the email as a plain text file (.txt), as a rich text file (.rtf), in the body of the email itself, or via google docs. Please remember not to upload your fic to your LJ or any archives until after the reveal. Note: If your fic is longer than will fit into a single post, or if you'd like for it to have chapters, please indicate where you'd like the splits to be, and don't forget to use the html codes if you want things to show up as italics or bold or etc.

MIXES: If you've uploaded the mix to an "anonymous" location like sendspace or something, then please just provide the download link. If you're using a file site that would give away who you are, then let me know via email and we'll see what options we have. Please remember not to upload your mix to your LJ until after the reveal. Please see the instructions for "Art" if you also have cover art for your mix.

VIDS: see above, re: MIXES if you're going to provide a link to download the vid file. If you tend to use someplace like YouTube to share vids, email me and we'll see what options we have to keep your identity under wraps until the reveal.

ART: For artwork and icons, you will need to send me copies of the files, rather than links to them. Most image file servers are connected to a username or email address, and would give away who the gifter is, so we're going to upload them on our end to post. You may, of course, upload them to your own space once after the reveal.


Pinch-Hitters and Extensions:

So far it's looking like almost everyone is on track to finish on time. If you've talked to me or Anuna about extensions, you're covered. If you've previously reported that you'll be done on time and find yourself behind, please let me know as soon as possible so I can make arrangements. If you need to drop out, then we also need to know that as soon as possible to make sure that everyone participating has a gift.

If you are willing and able to pinch-hit (ie, adopt abandoned requests should we have them) please let us know in a comment or PM (or email me). I'm hoping we won't need many, but just in case I'd like to have people lined up. :)



Finally, thank you to everyone who's checked in (I'm really sorry I haven't responded to everyone, but if you're not on the above list I have received your responses.

Also, just a reminder that everyone is welcome (and encouraged!) to wander through the prompts over at the request post and write community treats. You can post these directly, without them being anonymous, just like you would regular fic.
