Hello thar, shippers!  Welcome to another round of Fic ANY FANWORK Rec Friday! 

Today is all about origin stories for both Clint and Natasha, or any story that heavily features their pre-SHIELD pasts.  (I kind of seperate this in my mind from first-meeting stories, as those are largely C/N centric, and I also suspect that they are going to become a massive subcategory of fic and probably need their own separate post, so I'm thinking we save that for later.)

A note about tagging, ratings and warnings:
We've added a bunch of tags since last week, and your friendly neighborhood mods are still working on the best way to go about this (because I think we should probably switch the "rec" part to just "fanwork" or "work" in general so people can tag stuff when it gets posted and not just when it's recc'd).  Should have an update soon on that soon.

In the meantime.... when you do rec or post fic, make sure to include a rating and also to identify any sensitive/trigger issues upfront.  Everyone's been really great about this so far, so let's keep up the good work!  /cheerleading

A/N: I've become a little obsessed with what Clint was reading at shawarma. So I wrote this in speculation. Each one represents a different theory separate from the others (as in, each one is in a different universe). I have to say, it was fun coming up with the possibilities. I hope this inspires others to take up the challenge of figuring out what he was reading. :D (Or if anyone actually knows, I'd love to hear it!) [As a note, the timeline doesn't quite mesh on Take 1 based on when the author started writing. I'm taking some creative license!]

Quick note: Snaps to anyone who recognizes the book from Take 4. :D Also, my sister Meagan says I should write a sixth take in which Clint is reading Fifty Shades of Grey, and I really did try, but I simply could not come up with a remotely believable reason for Clint "Hawkeye" Barton to be reading mommy porn (and I've read it - perhaps that contributed to my not wanting to inflict it on Clint). Sorry, Meagan! LOL
