Summary: A Hydra cell is setting up shop in a quaint German university town. Clint and Natasha get sent in to take care of the problem and just might discover more than Art Nouveau architecture in the process…

Inspired by dictator_duck's challenge to write fics set in our hometowns. This is my first Clintasha fic and the first fic over 600 words that gets posted anywhere, so yay :D It also features a plot bunny I had running around my head since September, I think... There might be a second part in the works, because after UST comes RST and apparently I write smut now… Feedback is very much appreciated :D I also think I went a bit overboard with the tags, but better too many than too few, right?

An extra special thanks t alphaflyer, who took the time to read this over not once but twice, all while preparing a New Year’s Eve feast for 20 people. You rock, my friend!

Disclaimer: Watch me as I write fiction about fiction. Also, if I owned these characters, they’d have at least a film trilogy to themselves by now. And each one would be written and directed by Joss Whedon.
Beta: The wonderful shenshen77, who has been ridiculously encouraging. Any remaining mistakes are my own.
Notes: So I read a couple of stories like this, and then woke up at five in the morning one day and this was sort of just there. Russian and Arabic translations from Google Translate, so apologies if they are inaccurate.

PS: if anyone knows where the quote at the beginning comes from, I’d be eternally grateful. I’ve been looking and I can’t find anything. I’m starting to think someone just made it up.

Summary: Natasha Romanov’s life was saved by a man who had once been a hawk, though she did not know this at the time.

Secret Santa Update

Hi! We're at about the halfway point of this wonderful ride, so we've set up a Master Post in case anyone has missed any of the gifts so far. Don't worry though - we've still got another seven days worth of fics and gifts to go.

A couple other notes: first and foremost, I just have to brag on y'all a little bit... as of right now, we haven't had ANY drops. :D You've all been really fantastic and have outdone yourselves. We really do have the best bar!

That said, a few of you may notice more than one present under the tree... we activated some of our super-awesome pinch hitters earlier in the game just to make sure everyone was covered, and then ended up getting both the pinch hit and the original entry in all those cases.

We've also had a few community treats - I'll be rounding those up and adding them to the master post in the next day or two. :)

Genre: Babyfic. Fluff. Friendship. Lots of friendship!! Honest to God, unapologetic Christmas fluff with friendship and family and dancing. There are gifts. And a party. And fluff. Seriously, it’s tons of fluff.
