REQUESTS: from now until 9am GMT Monday 14th October
ASSIGNMENTS SENT OUT: 14th – 17th October
(Cheerleader Tea Party approx. 3rd November)
(Check in 30th + 31st November)
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 16th December
GIFT POSTING STARTS: 24th December

THINGS TO KNOW

An exchange is where you sign up with ideas for what kind of gift you like and what kind of gift you'd like to give, then everyone gets a gift and makes a gift, and it's all anonymous until reveals at the end. For this exchange gifts can be: fic (minimum 1,000 words), art (one wallpaper, a painting, a picset, a graphic), fanmix (minimum cover and 5 tracks), icons (minimum 10), or a gift basket (a mix of any of the others with a split that makes it equivalent: ie 500 words and 5 icons).

THE RULES OF THE COMM APPLY and your gifts need to include Clint and Natasha - as friends, partners, lovers, colleagues, spouses, enemies… We love other characters and they can be involved as well, but the focus, as always with our comm, is on these two.

This post is for REQUESTS ONLY. I apologise that you only have a week to do requests, but I want to make sure people have writing/creating time! There will be a separate post shortly to sign up to pinch hit, beta read, be on the graphics team, and cheerlead, and to talk about community gifts. You can do any to all of these things! So if you just want to take part in the exchange, wonderful. But if you also just want to be on the graphics team, or just cheerlead, that’s wonderful too! And if you want to do more than one thing, guess what? That would be wonderful. If you want to do everything? You’re crazy-wonderful ;D

This post has a thread for questions and a thread for chatting at the top. Please don’t reply to any request comments, because then you can keep on editing your requests right up until the deadline.

I aim to match everyone up as best as possible, but I make no guarantees of perfection! A helpful hint is that if, as time goes by and before the request deadline, you see that someone has posted a request for something you would really like to write/create like, say, zombies wearing santa hats, you might want to edit your gift offer to say something like, ‘I like writing about zombies’. Seven people might do this, but hey, one of you is likely to get to write about zombies.
