Title: Marriage is for Children [1/1]
Author: [livejournal.com profile] theladymore
Remix Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] scribble_myname
Pairing(s): Clint/Natasha
Rating: PG-13
Warnings (or 'I choose not to warn'): A very minor scene of violence, nothing to write home about
Author's Note: So I read the fic, and I thought hum this was a very interesting concept but what happened during the mission. I thought it would be a slight journey to keep herself and figuring out what love is. So I hope you enjoy my take on what could have happened. Also slightly AU as in Clint and Natasha came back to SHIELD after the change in power in SHIELD so slight spoilers from AOS.
Fic I've Chosen To Remix (please include link): The Black Widow and a Cup of Marriage
Summary: Clint and Natasha pretend to be a married couple in a suburbian home as they watch over a suspected HYDRA couple. Natasha realizes a few truths about love.

Hello, bar!

Those of us in the US are celebrating Independence Day today.

So, that got me thinking -- Independence is and has been a pretty central theme in MCU, especially through Phase 2. We certainly know that Natasha has been grappling with her identity and her ability to make choices independent of orders or missions. Before that, we know she made the decision to defect, to leave Red Room and join SHIELD. We don't know as much about Clint's (MCU) backstory, but I'd be willing to bet he's been going through a similar struggle, especially now.

What are your head canons about our assassins and independence? (Or, you know, assassins and barbecues if you prefer. ;) )

Things to remember:
1) Always label NSFW (Not Safe For Work) stuff in the title and post under a cut.
2) Fic and artwork needs to have a rating and warnings (or you can say that you’ve chosen not to use warnings).
3) For people with annoying internet connections, say in the title if a comment is graphic/images/gif-heavy and post picspams under a cut.
4) Have a damn good time! (Because if that’s not happening then this post has clearly failed.)
