zomg.
I saw this and I had to share. Let me bore you with statistics for a minute:

as of May 6, 2012 (the day this little bar was founded) we had:
4 members
4 watching

as of today (1/1/13), we have
1,000 members
1,051 watching

PLEASE EXCUSE ME WHILE I BREATHE INTO THIS PAPER BAG. HOW ARE Y'ALL SO AWESOME???

(Alas, I'm not sure who our thousandth member is, but I wish there was a way to find out so we could throw them a party or something-- or at least make a commemorative icon. :D)

This is the very best bar. I am just floored. Happy new year, y'all. <3

*cough* Clint gets himself transformed into a Hawk to fight the demon owl, because nothing else is cutting it and because of magical reasons. It is possible that he is helped by Doctor Strange or someone to do this. It is possible that Tony is pissed because science is far superior to magic. It is possible that Natasha is pissed because CLINT IS A BIRD, WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING? WERE YOU THINKING?! and/or because they don't know if they can change him back.

Maybe.

*cough*

Sorry. Forgot the E. Ladyhawke (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ladyhawke) - one of the best movies of the 80s!

I'm gonna show my age here, but that film was before I was born *grins*.

I AM SO OLD! I saw that movie in the theater with my friends! Granted, we were in middle school so it wasn't like I was in college or anything but... *sigh*

Okay, enough about how I might as well go buy a walker. But you must see this movie! You must! Is it on Netflix? I think so. I don't know if it's anywhere else but I know it still comes on TV from time to time so it's not like it's completely disappeared.

I need to own the DVD. Hmm...

Besides, Matthew Broderick gets to be FUNNY and he's adorable in this movie.

I just saw your conversation and had to jump in, sorry :)

And all the yes to this idea, the film is lovely, right there with The Princess Bride! I bought it in a GameStop in Ireland a couple of years ago and I still like to watch it, although I find the soundtrack pretty distracting now, it's just really bad 80s synthesizer pop ;)

But to have Clint and Natasha separated like that... *wibbles*

Yes! The music is so horrid! But that scene! The one where they ALMOST get to touch and then she flies away! ALL THE PHEELS! My thirteen year old self just melts even just thinking about it.

Which means I should find a way to MAKE THAT HAPPEN!

:D

Yes, oh my god, yes! That scene, still breaking my heart after all these years. All the longing and the hopelesness and quiet devotion... *gross sobbing*

I first saw that movie at a friend's birthday party, I think she turned 11 or 12, and I still get those little girl 'oh my god, this is what love is' feels when I think about that movie too!

Please make it happen! I gladly offer me as a sounding board ;)
