Just wanted to drop by and tell you that I am loving this story :D Anything that can act as a catalyst to get Clint and Natasha together is ok by me! (and if it involves him realizing that Bobbi is just no good for him well... darn ;)

Now when you mention reading a ficlet eons ago that inspired this fic, are you referring to the end scene, where Clint and Natasha get wasted, profess their love, and then promptly forget about it in the morning? Because I feel like I read something similar to that too.... I want to say that it wasn't here? I'm pretty sure it was on a different Avengers fic comm.... maybe a part of some big prompt/fest at another community? hmmms... I have a plethora and vast array of Clint/Natasha bookmarks, but I will attempt to go through them to uncover this mystery for you!! ;) ( I really need to triple organize my bookmarks anyway, maybe this will help ;)

Thank you! Actually, the one I'm thinking of was about Natasha looking longingly at Bobbi and Clint from across a room. I think that's all it was, though, and for months I've thought about what could happen next.

I do remember another one, though...in which a drunk Clint woke up naked with Nat and didn't remember sleeping with her. It took him...a while? to remember? I don't remember what the circumstances were, though... It had a darker tone, I think, but...? Seriously, I'm getting old!!

Ah my apologies then! Sadly I can't help you with that one :/ But yep that was the one I was thinking of! Yeah I can't remember the exact details either, I read it awhile ago as well (I feel that about getting old/memory not what it used to be! ;) Oh yes I have tons of favorites spread out across all those also... I'm seriously going to have edit my bookmarks and add detailed descriptions of my own!
