That picture in the post itself... can I tell you the one thing that I gravitate to each time I see it? The way that Clint has his boots tied. I find that incredibly sexy even as I wonder how easy it is to walk in them.

Clint's boots... always one of my favorite things.

Damn, I now see Natasha wearing one of Clint’s shirts and his boots. Can’t get that image out of my head. *headdesk*

Well that's better than what my eyes are drawn to. WHY THE HELL IS HIS TSHIRT TUCKED IN. I MEAN REALLY.

How easy is it to walk in them? Well, in the movie, he kind of STALKS.

Which leads me to one of my favourite things. The way Renner walks. Like, all relaxed but ... coiled. Guh.

Sorry -- this isn't picspam. But it's inspired by picspam. Do mental images count?? Please?

Actually it is fairly easy to walk with your boots tied that way. I have a similar pair I tie just like that (and I never realized he tied them that way. I am giggling because I have a black leather coat very similar to Fury's and apparently I tie my boots like Hawkeye. LOL)

Anyway, you just have to make sure the lacings are tight over the foot and one or two holes up and then the rest can be loose or not laced. Plus they should fit well and not be too big. (I have funny legs that get large right above the ankles-very muscular so boots tend to look dumb if they are laced all the way up.

I'm with you on that. Every time I see pics from Central Park I also look at the boots. I keep meaning to try to work that into a story somehow.

As for favorite scene I haven't written yet, I'm thinking about one of those lettybobettie pics that lar posted earlier, they need to be immortalized in fic :) Also, hurt!Clint is my drug, so... *grins sheepishly*

And so far I've only written one story in this fandom, but this is my favorite scene, the very end. It's set the morning after Clint and Natasha's first night together.

Somehow putting it behind a cut didn't work, so here it is.





I hadn’t meant to fall asleep, and I guess neither had Natasha. But one moment we were laying together in a sated heap and the next someone was poking me in the ribs through our blanket cocoon. I startled awake to find myself face to face with Coulson. He was looking at me with an amused expression, yet seemingly unperturbed by the situation, handing me a cup of coffee.
“I, we, uhm,” I stammered, taking the proffered beverage, feeling a blush creep its way from my chest to my hair. Nat stirred beside me, blinking her eyes at Coulson.
“Breakfast in bed? How nice,” she smiled at him, seemingly unfazed.
“Well, I thought it was the least I could do. You just won me 50 Bucks.”
“What?!” I admit I’m not at my sharpest immediately after waking, but Coulson had totally lost me.
“The betting pool on when you two would finally hook up,” he said, deadpan.
“You didn’t come back to the room last night, which by the way, is just on the other side of that wall. Which is very thin. Very. Thin.” He pointed at the back wall and I had to stifle the sudden urge to pull the blanket over my head.
Shit. Hawkeye, World’s Greatest Marksman. Trained spy, hard-wired tracking device, reputation for noticing everything. Bested by hormones and a beautiful woman.

Speaking of said woman, here she was, quietly sipping her coffee, not batting an eyelash; mask firmly in place. But then, she'd doubtlessly known all along where we were.

“Jesus,” I muttered.

Coulson smiled the pedantic smile of the perfect civil servant he is.

“I’m pretty sure that’s not the name I heard last night.”
