How many times have you seen Avengers?: Twice in theaters and an embarrassing number of times at home (thanks internet! <3)

What brings you to the Clint/Natasha ship?: Just look at them! That's probably not enough so I'm going to say it's the way they compliment each other. Fighting side by side in complete harmony. I'm a sucker for a ship who kicks the crap out of each other too (I have no idea what this says about me) but Natasha hitting him hard on his head to reset his brain is PURE LOVE. It pleases me. Plus they are extremely easy on the eyes.

Any other ships/fandoms?: Battlestar Galactica and my ship of ships is Lee/Kara. I'm also hopelessly devoted to Doctor Who and Ten/Rose. Shipping is my thing, give me a show and I'll find something to ship...that's how I roll.

What about C/N do you like best?: The way Clint's eyes followed Natasha around the recovery room they were in after she reset him. The way he says "Nat" or "Tasha". The way Natasha looks him in the eye and says she's been compromised. The way Natasha hops on the enemy vehicle and heads to Stark Tower and Clint doesn't tell her she's nuts or tries to rescue her, he goes with her plan and assists. They are 100% completely confident of each others abilities. Plus the hotness! I have entered a serious Jeremy Renner situation...SERIOUS.

What kinds of things are you looking forward to seeing at be_compromised? Fic, graphics, vids...?: Bring it all to me. I love it all.

Share your favorite piece of fanon/head!canon: Head!canon is off the charts but for me Natasha practices classic ballet in secret but Clint knows, he doesn't tell her or anyone. He's always trying to protect the secrets of her past because he's the only one who knows *most* of it. He knows she despises pity and wouldn't tolerate it. So he keeps this little piece of beauty from her past a secret so that she keeps something for herself that makes her happy or at least at peace that something good came from it. (I know it's schmoopy...NO REGRETS). There's a bunch more but that's kind of my favorite one of the moment.

Rec a fic, graphic, vid, meta, etc. (try to pick something not yet recommended) and explain why you liked it.: I am at work so I'm total fail with links right now but I've been devouring things over at AO3 and I read an interesting fic last night called Orbits by Eliuned (and I probably spelled that wrong and I apologize if I did) but it was a great story about C/N after the movie and how they finally get together. Clint's head is all messed up and it's a messy battle to get all the feelings out for both of them but there was so much emotion and care between them. It was really great and very hot!

What should a potential new friend know about you/your LJ and/or what are you looking for in an LJ friend?: I don't post much but when I do it's a mix of RL and fannish things. I ramble alot and tend to spaz/fangirl about the things I love. I like to have fun and keep it light.

How many times have you seen Avengers?: I got to see it for the second time today :D

What brings you to the Clint/Natasha ship?: workerbee73 and sugar_fey. Oh, wait, you meant what, not who? I have thinky thoughts over here, so stealing from there: these two speak their own language. It’s a language of ‘you know I do’ and Natasha whispering something to Clint that makes him smile at the end even when he’s stood right in front of and staring at Loki. It’s a language of being the two just humans on the team, the only two to actually follow SHIELD orders, being spies, of so much history, and of debt. I don’t if they’ve ever been romantically involved or if they ever would, but I thoroughly believe they are a part of each other in all the inseparable ways that count. They're a group within the group of Avengers as a whole and the dynamics fascinate me.

Any other ships/fandoms?: my fandoms other than the Avengers at the moment are Sherlock BBC, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Torchwood, Firefly/Serenity, and X Men. Share your favorite piece of fanon/head!canon: Thanks to sarea_okelani and her fic Lifeline I think that Clint called a young Natasha 'Gnat' as a nickname to wind her up (because I believe Clint is older by 10-13 years and Natasha joined SHIELD between 13-20) and that he still calls her that sometimes. It's a silent 'g', so maybe he's just saying 'Nat', but Natasha knows that he isn't.

I agree with your thoughts on the shawarma scene. Clint's foot up on her chair, earlier when his eyes just follow her, the little ways they gravitate towards each other. It's a very subtle and nuanced way of expressing affection. It's my favorite thing about them.

The dynamic is interesting. I like the history that we don't know yet, the complete trust they have, the way they move around each other. It's familiar and I am really attracted to the comfort level they have.

Their whole dynamic and chemistry makes me feel all the feels! Seriously. I was shipping them before the movie came out... actually watching it just made it worse. Oh, and Bee. (No, we will never stop blaming you for all our C/N problems. <3)

They make love but only that time. Natasha knows that love can be used by their enemies and even so called allies/friends, namely Nick Fury.

What brings you to the Clint/Natasha ship? The incredible depth of their relationshp in the movie--despite the relatively small amount of screentime they had, their interaction spoke volumes.

Any other ships/fandoms? Oh yeah. The Vampire Diaries and Damon/Elena, Doctor Who and Ten/Rose, pretty much anything that has come out of Joss Whedon's brain, Veronica Mars and Logan/Veronica, Harry Potter, Chuck, Parks and Recreation, Star Wars EU, Pushing Daisies, et cetera.

What about C/N do you like best? The trust and partnership they have. I'm a sucker for friendships/pairings where the characters really only trust each other. I blame my childhood obsession with The X-Files.

I've seen several Old West Clint/Natasha AUs, but this is the only one that haunted me afterwards. Any other ships/fandoms?: Really into GSF/gen/I'm pretty easy, it's all good. It's also sorta disgusting how badly I want Renner/Johansson to get married and have babies. Other fandoms are HBO War Fandom and Twin Peaks mostly.

What about C/N do you like best?: BROS. BROS WHO OCCASIONALLY MAKE OUT. No but for real, watching the movie...their entire orientation is towards each other. Natasha is 100% focused on finding Clint and Clint, once he gets hit in the head, in 100% focused on Natasha. To me it's like they are entirely capable of existing without each other, but they're much more comfortable existing together. How many times have you seen Avengers?: Twice (bad shipper!)

What brings you to the Clint/Natasha ship?: I love, love, love the "two of us against the world" motif, especially given their profession and personal histories. Plus, hello Jeremy Renner! Where have you been all my life?!

Any other ships/fandoms?: Harry Potter, Dr. Who, LotR, Mighty Boosh are the main ones. I also enjoy Voltron fanfiction. Wait, what?

What about C/N do you like best?: Specifically in the Movieverse, I love how Joss took the time to make all the C/N scenes purposeful. Even knowing nothing about these two when I walked into the theater, I could sense the history, the affection, and it drove my little brain insane with the desire to know more.

What kinds of things are you looking forward to seeing at be_compromised? Fic, graphics, vids...?: I love it all!

Share your favorite piece of fanon/head!canon: I am a sucker for the idea of redemption and things left unsaid and something tells me this plays over and over again in their relationship.

I wish I could write like that! I love the characterization of Clint and Natasha in both of these as well as the imagery. Also, I have been reading all the thinky thoughts 'round here and I just want to say I'm not worthy! Great, great stuff...

What brings you to the Clint/Natasha ship?: The quiet subtlety of their relationship in the movie and how it doesn't need to be said aloud for it to be obvious.

Any other ships/fandoms?: I deal mainly in anime and manga, with some unhealthy splashes of kpop. Currently hardcore shipping Rennerson and Clint/Natasha, but really wants to see someone do a Jeremy/Scarlett + one-sided Chris Evans/Scarlett fic because I recently saw The Nanny Diaries and omfg Chris/Scarlett so cute

What brings you to the Clint/Natasha ship?: I just loved them in the movie! It was so obvious that they care about each other so much and I love when my couples fight the bad guys side by side. :)

A lot! LOL My very first fandom was Mulder & Scully. :)
Besides Clint/Natasha, my current pairing are: Tony/Pepper (loved them since the first Iron Man!), Sherlock/Molly from the BBC's Sherlock, Bates/Anna & Matthew/Mary from Downton Abbey, and Damon/Elena from The Vampire Diaries.

What about C/N do you like best?: I like the sense that there is so much more going on beneath the surface. I love how they work together and I love how she showed that she would do anything for him. :)

Movieverse, Comicverse, or both? Movieverse, though I've read some of the comicverse, I always walk away, perplexed, like I've missed something.

How many times have you seen Avengers?: Four, so far.

What brings you to the Clint/Natasha ship?: I tend to fall for characters who have had phenomenal odds stacked against them, but they still keep trying. Clint and Natasha are both human; they've both been through hell. They rely on each other, and their bond is strengthened because they know what it's like to be really afraid, but fight on.

Any other ships/fandoms?: Fandoms! I love fandoms! Let's see: Star Wars, LotR, Buffy, Roger Zelazny's Amber Chronicles, Harry Potter, Sandman, X-Files, Doctor Who, The Hunger Games, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Unusuals, Sherlock, and the Avengers. I ship Clint/Natasha; Andrew/Dawn, and Faith/Connor, from Buffy; TenII/Rose; Mulder and Scully; Delahoy/Crumb from The Unusuals.

What about C/N do you like best?: When Natasha finds out that Clint's been compromised, she comes in immediately to help find him. She keeps to her objectives, though, trusting in SHIELD to take care of their own. I love that they trust each other, without trying to possess each other. Also, they have such chemistry. I just love watching them.

Share your favorite piece of fanon/head!canon: My roomie, big in the comicverse, said: Barton doesn't miss. Yet when Loki took him over, Barton shot Director Fury point blank in the chest. Right in the Kevlar. It would have been nothing for him to aim two feet higher and take Fury out. I think Barton was fighting back, in his small way. Loki couldn't bring Barton to kill Director Fury.
