Question For My Lovelies...  
So I noticed the other day that another community did awards, like fanfic awards, and best art awards, and stuff like that. It seemed like a great way to celebrate some of the amazing stuff that's posted on this community. I was just curious if there's something similar here, and if not, was it something people would be interested in?

EDIT: Maybe we could do like an epic bookmark thing instead? Everyone goes through favorite fics till we have like the biggest rec list ever from every category, including art. Then it's not a competition?

I don't like reccing either. Like pairing manifests? Usually most known/most popular things get recced, and when you add voting to the mix it tends to bring out the worst in people. We're all imperfect, we all have insecurities, heck I'm the first in line. Popularity contests scare the shit outta me. So, no for me. I would prefer a different waqy of celebrating, and if this is still going to happen, then I prefer not being nominated at all.

Eh, just an idea... Like it wouldn't be a vote since its just recs, but okay. I'll just leave it alone.

Reccs don't get me as bad as I know that it's just that reccer's personal faves, but anytime voting gets involved it can get messy.

Oh sigh, mommy fandom. I could tell exactly which fics by which people would get recced just as people who would never in million years get recced because of BNFness and cliques and popular kids patting themselves on the back.

So don't wanna go back to that. Ever.
