Question For My Lovelies...  
So I noticed the other day that another community did awards, like fanfic awards, and best art awards, and stuff like that. It seemed like a great way to celebrate some of the amazing stuff that's posted on this community. I was just curious if there's something similar here, and if not, was it something people would be interested in?

EDIT: Maybe we could do like an epic bookmark thing instead? Everyone goes through favorite fics till we have like the biggest rec list ever from every category, including art. Then it's not a competition?

I'm not mad or anything. I get it. I mean everyone has something they feel sensitive about. I did wanna rec stuff for like newbie writers. People who wrote their first fic in this community. I think that would be cool, but I don't wanna offend.

There is nothing wrong with that? Actually, I think that's an awesome idea. You just don't need an award thing to do, you can just go and write up a post now and be all 'HELLO NEWBIES YOU ARE SHINY, LET ME TELL THE BAR HOW SHINY YOU ARE'

Lol, I only think of it cause my time is so tiny, and recs are my way of keeping up, but I really like the unknown, more creative stories.

THAT, btw, sounds like something brilliant as well ... a sort of "Newbies Guide to Blackhawk" or something ... that would include links to places that have great fic, good icons, good websites for background info, how we stand on the whole movie-verse/comic-verse issue (which was, in the beginning, utterly confusing for dear old me xD), maybe a bit of character background for our heroes (for people that have, for example, only seen the film) etc etc ....?

As long as it's not "you MUST include character background" or "you MUST read this meta" - that limits creativity rather than helping.

"If you want to include comics background, here are Nat's and Clint's - but we all pick and choose what we want" is better than "Natasha was trained in the Red Room, Clint had a brother" when in strictly MCU canon, neither of those statements are canonically true. Natasha could be ex-family crime instead of ex-KGB/FSB.

...which reminds me I still need to finish something of my 'verse where Natasha is ex-Mafiya rather than ex-Russian Intelligence. Wheee.
