ATTF: Three sentences of awesome.
Hello dearest bar! I'm steering the ATTF ship today, and I've seen this going around in a few other places, so I thought we could try it here. Welcome to the first ever [livejournal.com profile] be_compromised Impromptu Three-Sentence Ficathon.

Yep. Three sentences. A fic. Or meta. Or whatever. You can post your three-sentence works of art in to ways: wait for someone to prompt something in the comments below and write a response to it or just come up with your own three-sentence fic/meta idea from scratch. Or do something else I haven't even thought of yet (it's early; I still need coffee). Just bring all the prompts--- and all fic and meta (in a three-sentence form).

We can all pitch in! Writers write! Non writers prompt! Everyone bring your own brand of polite anarchy!

The only things we require: post a rating in the header, and list any applicable warnings (or say chose not to warn). That's it. Go forth and have fun. <3

And Happy Friday. :)

WikiwikiWHAT, rated PG, no warnings
"You know that site lies."

Clint didn't look up from where he was thumbing through the Wikiweb app on his phone, currently browsing the article on the Consistory Court, and said, "But the lies are so much more entertaining than hours in a freezing sniper's nest, watching marks trip over their tongues when you smile at them."

Natasha rolled her shoulders and said, "I guess this explains randomly correcting Coulson with random and often incorrect trivia about the fourteenth century in briefings," and Clint grinned.

The sky streaking in pink and orange and the most glorious shade of magenta she'd ever seen, she watched the sun rise from her position on the floor next to his pallet. The mission had gone sideways, he had taken a bad fall and she had spent the night sitting there, waking him every two hours to check his eyes for symptoms of concussion and pour a little more painkiller down his throat. He stirred, his fingers tightening on hers as he slowly woke and focused on her - obviously in pain, but alert, thank god.

warnings: murder, rating PG
For Easter, Natasha gives Clint an actual stuffed bunny; on the fourth of July, she kills a patriotic man that's been murdering young women in the name of 'MURRICA. On Halloween, her gift to Clint is a trussed up monster—which Tony suspects might actually just be an alien who had the unfortunate luck to stumble through an interplanetary portal at the wrong moment—outside his door, on President's Day she assassinates the president of a small, troublesome third world country, and on Thanksgiving, she kills their dinner herself by actually going out in a field and murdering a turkey.

Tony is really, really worried about Christmas, okay?

Excellent story! Excellent!

PG13ish; no warnings
"Don't," Natasha snaps, the first time she sees the words reflected in his face because everything she's ever learned tells her that all life ends in death, and all love in tragedy.

"You don't have to say anything back," Clint tells her, when the words are on the tip of his tongue again and he anticipates her fear; but she still kisses him to shut him up, rakes her nails down his back and imagines an abyss of red.

"You know that I love you, right?" she says two years later, in the silver stillness of predawn remorse, because the hopeless surrender in his eyes is more terrifying than any unwritten future.

G; No warnings!
(Totally late to the party but couldn't resist joining in.)

He couldn't help but laugh as she finally came out of the bathroom, ready for bed.

"You wear feety pyjamas?" he laughed as he pulled back the covers for her to join him in the large double bed.

The look she gave him made him immediately shut up and shuffle over in the bed; smile completely wiped from his face as she slid in beside him, smiling to herself and trying not to laugh!

I wasn't sure who would end up in the feety pajamas, but thought it would be great either way!

Loved this!
