ATTF: Three sentences of awesome.
Hello dearest bar! I'm steering the ATTF ship today, and I've seen this going around in a few other places, so I thought we could try it here. Welcome to the first ever [livejournal.com profile] be_compromised Impromptu Three-Sentence Ficathon.

Yep. Three sentences. A fic. Or meta. Or whatever. You can post your three-sentence works of art in to ways: wait for someone to prompt something in the comments below and write a response to it or just come up with your own three-sentence fic/meta idea from scratch. Or do something else I haven't even thought of yet (it's early; I still need coffee). Just bring all the prompts--- and all fic and meta (in a three-sentence form).

We can all pitch in! Writers write! Non writers prompt! Everyone bring your own brand of polite anarchy!

The only things we require: post a rating in the header, and list any applicable warnings (or say chose not to warn). That's it. Go forth and have fun. <3

And Happy Friday. :)

Rated PG, no warnings.
Sometimes she thinks about a Natalia Alianovna that got to grow up normal, a young woman whose mother carefully walked her through how to use makeup at an appropriate age, who fought with her father over curfew and spoke at his retirement dinner, a girl with friends and boyfriends who smiled and joked and argued. She thinks long and hard about this imaginary woman and her imaginary friends, but every time, she thinks that maybe she would not want to be that woman.

Clint Barton would never smile at that woman the way he smiles at her.

Re: Rated PG, no warnings.
It's a common feeling. I call it "smiling through my tears" or "being a fan of Whedon."

Re: Rated PG, no warnings.

Tea Party (PG - no warnings)
"You can't sit there," the diminutive Natasha informed Clint as he joined her at the kitchen table. Thirty-six hours in and she was still a six-year old but Bruce swore that he was close to a solution to Dr. Doom's little trick.

As he changed seats, she informed him, "That's where Coulson is sitting."

I don't know if I should curtsy or offer up a coupon for new strings. *grins*

Re: Tea Party (PG - no warnings)
Definitely curtsy. Heart strings, if artfully plucked, regrow within 24 hours.
